Yay! The forum is back!

I kinda got bored of the current DracoPals so I wanted to build a deck using all the new support that Yuya has been getting, taking in consideration what I think would be hit by the banlist if Konami wanted to murder the deck (Draco Face-Off, Ignister and Sorcerer to 1, Wavering and Monkey to 0).

I'll update this when Odd-Eyes Mirage Dragon is available in Devpro.

Also, I don't know if I should be posting this here or in the OCG section.

Very solid build. Will have to do some testing with the deck to see how strong it is, but in theory/paper, it looks good. I'll probably add the new Odd-Eyes monsters to the deck once they are available. Could help with the scales.

It's really good, Persona is a really good card to have on board first turn and Sky Iris is more or less the core of the deck.

I think I'll take out the dracoslayer engine of the deck, in the hypothetical scenario that Draco Face-off gets limited makes the engine bricky sometimes.

Mirage would add more even plays to the deck, being a level 3 has a lot more of synergy with Hippo.

Updated lists now that Mirage is finally availabe in DevPro. Also, limiting myself to 1 Ignister makes the match-up with current Dracopals and Blue-Eyes really hard so I decided to run 2 to at least have a bigger chance to win, but that Ignister should be a Giant Hand.

How's the deck working out for you? I've been interested in trying a small Performapal engine with a deck of mine (likely my U.A. deck, but it could be something else), so I'm curious how well it works, despite the nerfing it got.

The Performapals work just fine in the TCG, I think I even posted in another topic my thoughts about the engine and Magicians. Now in the OCG, the Performapals alone are really inconsistent but with the Odd-Eyes engine (Sky Iris, Mirage, Persona) they work really well. It comes to player preference and how much space you want to invest for the engine.

Updated list. I decided to stay with the Magicians and add a little Majespecter engine to the mix...

...But I think that if Draco Face-Off goes to 1 in the TCG the Dracoslayer engine loses a lot of consistency and become really sacky so I've been looking for something that could replace it.

I've been testing with a Zombie engine (3 Sage, 1 Uni and 1 Mezuki). The idea is that since Sage is a 1st turn Omega, use it to recycle the Mezuki and have a recurring tuner.

Draco Face-Off likely won't go to 1 until sometime after Shining Victories comes out in the TCG; they need to sell the last Dracoverlord monsters, they've already reprinted Face-Off in Premium Gold 3, and they're already testing Luster Pendulum at 3 in major tournaments, so it's likely not going to go to 1 any time, soon.
