What shows are you watching currently?

Right now, for me:

Sunday- Game of Thrones, Penny Dreadful, House of Lies(have to catch up)
Monday- Turn: Washington's Spies, Baby daddy, Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V
Tuesday- Person of Interest
Thursday- Orphan Black, Powerpuff Girls
Friday- Wynona Earp, Steven Universe
Saturday- Pokemon XYZ

I'm also going through the entire Battlestar Galactica franchise. I started with the original, then 1980, then I just finished the reboot series and I'm starting Caprica.

I'm thinking about checking out The Americans and Outlander(show written by same person who wrote BSG reboot) since it got greenlit up to season 4.

The new Voltron anime is out on Netflix now. I think I'm going to add that to my list.

ARC-V, Red vs Blue, Pokemon XYZ (dub, and that series is really getting good)

6 Gen anime has actually been surprisingly good. First series to present a group of Pokemon as straight up supervillains without any human influence. I'm still really annoyed that Bunnelby and Chespin still haven't evolved despite being there since practically the beginning. And Luxray hasn't had much personality development since it evolved. But this is also the first series that openly has the female main character have a crush on Ash and get teased about it by another character. I hope the series doesn't end before she finally admits her feelings. It's still weird that none of the kids have cell phones and have to communicate only through videophone booths at places like Pokemon Centers.

I would like for Serena to continue into the next series, which they could easily do given how non-descript the Sun and Moon girl is. I do enjoy Bunnelby and Chespin as they are though; they're hilarious.
Those Malamar are freaking terrifying.

Chesnaught is my favorite of the starters so it's really sad for me that this is turning into another Piplup situation.

I am hopeful that this Dreamworks Voltron anime will be good.

Yeah, the anime seems to go with looks of a Pokemon over ability a lot.

Hehe, okay, this new Voltron series reminds me a lot of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Animation is very similar.

Also: "Wait! This castle has a particle barrier we can activate."

"Girl, you've already activated my-"

"Lance!"

Been rewatching Code Lyoko because of nostalgia, and I occasionally see Arc V. I've been watching RWBY but volume 4 will start back up in October/Nov.

Finished Dreamwork's Voltron. It was pretty good. 11 episodes is a little short even if the first episode is an hour and 45 min. long. It made me wish Netflix would pick up the Thundercats reboot series for a second season. That show was amazing. Didn't deserve to be canceled after just one season.

What do I watch, huh? Well, for starters, I've all but abandoned TV. Got too boring. I still only watch Toonami, cause that Hunter X Hunter dub is AWESOME!! Online, I guess RWBY is right up my alley, as well as Arc-V. I also watch cardfight vanguard g on youtube, cause shit's getting real over there! I'm not really into this season's anime, so I'm kinda not watching any of it. For shows, I really want to watch DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Hey, if it's as good as Arrow or Supergirl, then its going to be awesome. Oh, and the prison break duo are there. Mostly though, I'm on Youtube, watching whatever's new, Team four star, LittleKuriboh and Markiplier, and his good friends. Oh Markiplier, you always make me laugh... (I assume that youtube counts in your discussion)

I can't stand Arrow and Supergirl couldn't interest me, and my dad and I watched the premier of Legends of Tomorrow and were amazed at how badly written it seemed( but then that was our reaction to the premier and much of the first season of Flash). Flash is the only one of those shows I care to watch. It suffers from some CW syndrome as well but I think it's gotten better since it started. I'm going to binge watch the second half of season two after I finish Caprica and the Blood and Chrome mini-series.

Yep, Youtube shows count. I'm still waiting for Bravest Warriors to get a new season. It's been two years. Season 3 is supposed to premier this year.

Game of Thrones season finale was pretty awesome. So many big players finally in a position to take action now. Can't wait for season 7. Next year we'll have The Mad Queen of Lions, The Mother of Dragons, The White Wolf King, The 3-Eyed Raven Prince and the many-faced Bloody Princess. 4 Starks are dead but 4 still remain (Well, one's only a Stark on his mother's side but still).

Turn: Washington's Spies season ended this week. No word yet if it will get another season but they just introduced Hamilton in the last two episodes of this season. So I hope it does.

Outlander season 2 will finish up on Sunday. The Battle of Colladun(?) Moore episode. But the show has already been picked up for another 2 seasons. I started watching this show because Ronald D. Moore is the one developing it based on a book series. He also was the man behind the 2004 Battlestar Galactica series. Outlander however... I'm wondering how many times rape will be used as a plot point next season. It seems to be an often recurring theme on this show (never read the books).

I just caught the season premiere of Dark Matter. Season One was a little rickety but the mystery held strong for me and as I was watching the new season premiere I just wished it was longer because I didn't want to wait a week to find out what happens next. I really like the set of characters. Hope there is more to that last scene because I would be so pissed if that played out just as it appeared. They can't do that-not with the mystery of his wife's murder still unexplained.

Marco Polo season 2 just came out on Netflix. I'm going to be watching that next.

Has anybody watched 12 Monkeys? Is it any good? I was thinking about watching it but I decided there was only so many time-travel shows I can watch at a time. So I'll probably try watching it later.

I'm watching Dragon Ball Super (subbed) and it's getting pretty good with this new Future Trunks/Black Goku arc. Yes they brought Future Trunks back and yes an evil Goku is predictable but it's pretty interesting. The Universe 6 vs Universe 7 arc was nice also

Currently watching ARC-V, but I have a lot of anime on my "to watch" list.

I'll probably look into Servamp and D.Gray-Man. The former at least sparked my interest, whereas I have waited for YEARS for the latter to return. Now all I need is to find time to watch said anime.

Star vs the Forces of Evil. I have absolutely no idea what to think of it right now.

It was pretty fun watching for the first season. But that was mostly all I felt it went to except a little bit with the monster vs. knights war reenactment holiday where Star started considering for the first time that treating monsters of her world the way of Native Americans might not be so fair. Season finale was cool though.

It wasn't until just this week's premiere of season 2 that I felt it could become more nuanced, deeper, like Adventure Time became. Most specifically with the second episode "Ludo in the Wild". I'd like to see more character-focus episodes like that.

Also, did you know the original pitch for the series was just about a 4th grade Sailor Moon obsessed fangirl who dreamed of being a "magical girl" and her archnemesis, a Dragon Ball Z obsessed karate kid?

I saw the trailer for that; it looks creepy as hell. So annoyed that I haven't been able to see Jessica Jones (I really hope that I got that name right) because David Tennant.

Yes you got the name right. Tennant was good. I really hope they have him whenever the next season happens. It is officially getting a season 2 but they won't be working on it until after the Defenders mini series. Which means both Luke Cage (September) and Iron Fist (early next year) have to come out first.

Stranger Things has an 80s setting. It also has an 80s Spielbergian feel. E.T. or maybe a bit Close Encounters. But it is definitely a supernatural/schifi horror thriller mystery. Every episode, I'm like "did I guess right?" and hold for anticipation from the last ep.

Like the horror episodes of Doctor Who minus the time travel? (Basically anything written by Steven Moffat...)

Did anybody catch the first episode of Legion? What did you guys think? If you haven't watched it yet, just don't expect everything in the first episode to make sense when the main character spends most of his time in a mental hospital.

Dragon Ball Super is going to start a Universe Survival arc where the strongest fighters from the 12 universes are going to gather to fight each other in the ultimate tournament. I was hoping Arc-V would do something similar with a 4 Dimension tournament to the end the show but it doesn't look like that is going to happen...

So, I started watching Farscape recently. Just finished the first season. It's space sci-fi not bad. But it's also space sci-fi with random crotch groping and at one point a character has repeated "photogasms" (an orgasmic experience brought on by extreme flashes of solar energy- in this case, a storm of solar flares). But it is also a space sci-fi show with a pregnant spaceship so... whatevs.

I'm also watching a cartoon called Wander over Yonder and I am just amazed at the fluidity of the animation for a series show. If anime like Yu-Gi-Oh had even a quarter of the fluidity of that...

I'm half way through the second season of Farscape. It is a corny space opera with a lot of awkward sexual jokes. They did a classic sci-fi body swap episode that ended with dialogue like "I enjoyed being inside your body." and "That's okay. You were in my shoes, I was in your pants." Also, more episodes with "farting helium" joke...

The "Crackers Don't Matter" episode is one of the most ridiculous things I have watched since that episode of the Original Star Trek where everyone on the Enterprise was acting drunk.

I just watched the entire 8-episode Elementals arc of Adventure Time. The ending to Part 7 is somehow one of the creepiest moments AT has ever had in my opinion. Also, anytime I get to hear Finn's high-pitch short-scream is a good moment.

"Let me call you sweetheart,
I'm in love with you,
Let me hear you whisper,
that you love me too,
Keep the love light glowing in your eyes so true,
Let me call you sweetheart,
I'm in love with you..."

Why do you have to make Bing Crosby song so creepy Adventure Time?

Hey guys, it's been a while. What have you all been watching this summer?

I started this summer off watching all of Twin Peaks to catch up with the third season. David Lynch is on fire with the new season. If you haven't watched the crazy art that is this season of Twin Peaks, I urge you to get lost in it. Can't believe a show like this is actually on TV.

I also just caught up with Killjoys for the first time. I was iffy on it at first but I actually really like it. Space bounty hunters in a corporate run galaxy. It's a good companion show to Dark Matter, which I have also been watching.

I also watched the first 2 seasons of Humans. Took a while for the Android revolution to begin. Kind of annoyed season 3 won't come out till next year.

Oh, also watched those first 4 episodes of Castlevania. Starts kind of slow. Last episode was really the only one I really liked- felt like we were finally getting somewhere with the story. Plus that "I want to kiss you." Scene was more satisfying than I expected.
