Yuya arrives at Academia and experiences the aftermath of Zarc's attack. Sora picks him up and leads to Kurosaki, who is punching a door he can't enter in. Kurosaki is, of course as always, looking for his Ruri and wants answers from the Professor. And Asuka stands there and does jackshit. And if you want to stop a Kurosaki, get the f*ck into your EVA. By the way, I don't mind her huge breasts (still smaller than Aki's).
Like a certain other big brother (his last name begins with J), Kurosaki is keeping slamming the door. Asuka/Sora inform Kurosaki/Yuya that the Professor is trying to resurrect Ray (again). Since Kurosaki has no idea of the whole Ray story. so Yuya tells him the whole story. Of course, he doesn't believe it, and since Yuya has to continue his mission, he challenges Kurosaki to a duel who tells him to shut up and needs the door to be opened first. Sora and Asuka get that Kurosaki won't believe them unless he sees the truth with his own eyes, therefore Asuka opens the door...and Kurosaki pushes her aside when she wants him to promise not to disturb the Professor.
We see the Professor doing his work and we see a silhouette that looks very much like Ray's. However, the Professor questions whether it's really Ray or not, since in Yuya's case, all of his three counterparts are now inside him. That Ray could be Yuzu. Ruri could be already vanished and might live inside Yuzu. Kurosaki wants to punch the guy, and the Professor doesn't even mind to be hit. After all, he admits that if it wasn't of him being obsessed to revive his daughter and if he didn't ignore the fact that the four girls were living their own seperate lives, it would not have gone that far. Kurosaki doesn't bring it to punch him and accepts the truth that his sister and his best bud are gone and he accepts Yuya's challenge.
Kurosaki starts by summoning Rudder Strix, which inflicts 300 damage upon summon. Yuya tries to avoid it with the Action Card Acceleration, but Kurosaki negates that with No Action. He sets a card and end his turn.
Yuya sets his Scales from episode 71, Light Phoenix and Unicorn and Pendulum Summons Ruri Magician and Odd-Eyes Pendulum. Yuya activates Yuzu Magician's Monster Effect to make her ATK equal to Odd-Eyes Pendulum. Odd-Eyes Pendulum attacks Rudder Strix, but Kurosaki activates Raid Raptors - Risky Flight to negate the destruction, halve the Battle Damage and end the Battle Phase. And due to being attacked, Rudder Strix's effect allows Kurosaki to summon two other Raid Raptors monsters, in this case...two other Rudder Strix. (How many times can he possibly have three times the same monster in his end anyway? It was weird during Kaiba vs Siegfried that Kaiba's first three cards on the top of his deck were all Blue-Eyes White Dragon and in any other situation it would be dead draws.) Yuya takes 600 damage through the two new Rudder Strix. Rin Magician's Monster Effect wears off and Yuya ends his turn without setting a card like always.
Kurosaki overlays his three Rudder Strixes into Rise Falcon. He activates Rise Falcon's effect to boost its ATK up to 3100 and attacks Odd-Eyes Pendulum with it, but Yuya grabs an Action Card after the successful attack. Yuya uses that Action Card, Miracle, to negate Serena Magician's destruction and halve the damage, but Kurosaki attempts to use the Action Card Encore to copy No Action's effect from his Graveyard, but Yuya grabs another Encore to copy Miracle's effect (wait, if the effect of Miracle was resolved, wouldn't have the attack gone through?). Anyway, Ray Magician is safe. Kurosaki sets two cards and end his turn and we see the back of certain white-clad, hot-blooded Duelist who is watching the duel.
Yuya Pendulum Summons Odd-Eyes Pendulum and Scales Magician who could be easily mistaken for a man if it wasn't for her rather obvious boobs. Kurosaki expects Yuya to Xyz Summon Dark Rebellion, but Yuya enters the Battle Phase and orders his servant dragon to attack (and the anime doesn't even hide that the "mysterious" watcher is Jack and shows him from the front). His opponent activates RUM Battle-Up Force to rank up his Rise Falcon into Revolution Falcon. The falcon man want to end this duel with Revolution Falcon's effect, but Yuya activates Scales Magician's effect in response to Revolution Falcon's Special Summon and targets it. Revolution Falcon loses 1000 ATK and so does Odd-Eyes Pendulum, reducing the original damage of 1250 to 750. Now that an Odd-Eyes monster is destroyed, Yuya tributes his two Magician girls to Special Summon a new Servant from his hand rather from Extra: Odd-Eyes Lancer Dragon. Like Odd-Eyes Saber before, there is no clear indication that it was created out of the spot. The RR man tells Yuya that it's pointless to attack Revolution Falcon with his new Servant, since Odd-Eyes Lancer would lose its ATK and DEF, but Yuya uses its effect to send his other Servant, Odd-Eyes Saber from his deck to his Graveyard to negate Revolution Falcon's effects entirely. Odd-Eyes Lancer attacks Revolution Falcon and Kurosaki tries to negate the destruction through Evasion, but Odd-Eyes Lancer's effect negates the activation of that Spell Card. After the battle, Kurosaki ranks Revolution Falcon up with Death Double Force, following an Xyz Change into Raid Raptors - Final Fortress Falcon. ("Waga Tamashii no Hayabusa". Congratulations, Kurosaki. You are another Jack.) Yuya sets a card and ends his turn.
Final Fortress Falcon attacks Odd-Eyes Lancer, but Yuya uses its effect to return an Odd-Eyes card (Unicorn) from the field to his hand to negate the destruction and negate the Battle Damage. Kurosaki detaches all of Final Fortress Falcon's Over Ray Units to allow his monster to attack multiple times by banishing a Raid Raptors Xyz Monster from his Graveyard for each attack. After banishing Rise Falcon, Yuya repeats the same move by returning Light Phoenix to his hand, but when Kurosaki banishes Revolution Falcon, Yuya has no other Odd-Eyes cards left. Then Yuya activates Cross Damage to deal Battle Damage to both players. Since the difference between the two monsters' ATK is 800, both take 800 damage and would lose the duel. Except that Yuya halves the damage he would have taken by activating another one of Odd-Eyes Lancer's effects, sending two of his Odd-Eyes cards from his hand to the Graveyard to negate the destruction on top of that. Kurosaki would have also taken only 400 damage, but the effect of Odd-Eyes Lancer that was activated also inflicts damage to Kurosaki Yuya just took and redueces his Life Points to Zero. Therefore, Yuya wins.
The moment he saw Yuya doing the final move, he saw Yuto, thus Kurosaki's hope to find/meet Ruri is strengthened, only less obsessed and he has now more faith in Yuya. Yuya is determined to save his love ones, but Jack yells at Yuya that at the rate of how Yuya is, he won't save anybody.
What will Yuya get in the future? Odd-Eyes Rider Dragon? Odd-Eyes Caster Dragon? Odd-Eyes Archer Dragon? Odd-Eyes Berserker Dragon? Odd-Eyes Assassin Dragon?
