If you could pick an anime or manga card/monster to make into the game which would you choose?

I personally want to see Zorc and Diabound in the game, with Zorc having some ability to counter exodia and ssince we got horakthy, it would be cool to see him as well.

We already have Dark Master Zorc, though.

You want Dragon-Penis Zorc as a card? Probably the most awkwardly designed monster in the entire game.

Yeah, but you have to admit it would be cool. Its supposed to be more powerful than the egyptian gods and exodia. Aren't you a little curious what they would do with that?

The first thing that comes to mind is Jim's Fossils, but I could type up a list of a couple hundred cards if I thought about it more.

I'd like Bronze Warrior, Path to Destiny and Miracle Moment, myself.

Oh my Ra! Jims fossils make me cry every time I think about it. I want them so much. Especially in this modern era where duelists love throwing monsters in their graveyards left and right. It is time to reap some benefits from your opponent's grave dumping.

I think they should be type specific though. Like in the anime. Maybe widen the type range for some. Like the Fossil Dragons should need a Dinosaur, Dragon or Reptile-Type monster banished from your Opponent's Graveyard. Fossil Knights need Warrior-Type which is pretty common (can't think of any other type to widen the choices for that). And then you have the Fossil Machines which can feed off of the dead machines in your Opponent's grave. They should make 2 or 3 more original sets to give the Extra deck some more options against common types that enjoy dancing in the graveyard like Fiends and maybe one for Fish/Aqua/Sea-Serpent and one for Beast/Beast Warrior.

With Konami, if it is released, it would have an OPT clause and it would summon a token instead of the spell card itself.

I wouldn't mind non-Number Xyzs for V and his family. Seems like they're the only duelists without any non-Number Xyzs in their decks, and it seems weird that that's the case. Then again, I never got why the Numbers they had so perfectly fit into their respective archetypes.

"Usually, "Numbers" are blank cards that take the form of what whoever finds them desires the most, design themselves to fit their original owner's Decks, and keep that form forever."

III had Chrononaut, but about IV and V, I think they didn't get a personal Xyz before "Numbers".

Okay. So, what kind of Xyzs did they have before they got a hold of the Numbers?

Yeeeahh, about that... I don't have an answer for that.
So, I guess we need to start speculating.
III had Chrononaut. His numbers weren't even the same rank as Chrononaut. I don't know if that could mean something, because III's monsters' levels were very diversified as opposed to IV and V.
Well, actually, IV had level 4 monsters but they were like that to be able to be normal summoned, and then get their levels modified.
V... We saw three monsters. All with different levels. And we have that self summoning spell with an arbitrary level.
Conclusion, I don't really know what kind of Xyzs they could have.
III's monster with the highest rank was a rank 7. IV had rank 8 and V rank 9. That should mean something.

- - - Updated - - -

Forget it. Since III's rank 7 was a rank up, my "theory" goes to waste, because VI and V also used rank up to rank 9 and 10, respectively.

SynjoDeonecros

Yeah, I forgot about Chrystal Chrononaut. What about their dad, though? All of his monsters are Level 4, so I'd think he'd have some decent non-Number Xyzs, since his Spell cards are specifically geared toward that.

I'd like to find out more about Blair Flannigan's Mystic deck from GX. We got Mystic Dragon, but Mystic Egg said there was supposed to be a Knight and a Magician as well. Mystic Dragon was a Level 8 with 3600 ATK.

With IV, we saw he used a Gravekeeper's deck before. He could have switched to Gimmick Puppets after getting the Gimmick Puppet Numbers. V really didn't have a deck besides "lol, Dyson Sphere." It was a mess. We do see him using Blasting the Ruins against Kite in a flashback though, for what its worth.

Yeah, Rei's character being dropped like that was annoying. They clearly set something up with the Knight and Magician being mentioned in card text, but that was all we ever got.

Oh yeah, I was forgetting he used Gravekeeper's in some point. I wonder why he moved to Gimmick Puppet.
Anyway, glad he did. They have awesome artworks. I wouldn't mind more Gimmick Puppet cards.

Some Dyson Sphere revamp would be nice too. But, in that case, they would have to make an entire new archetype and strategy, you know, because we don't have one.

So, if they used different decks before they got their Numbers, why didn't the Numbers cards fit themselves to work with their existing decks, instead of decks designed around them? That makes no sense to me. Then again, a Gravekeeper's Numbers card would be awesome to have.

Then again, a Gravekeeper's Numbers card would be awesome to have.

I think the exact opposite. Gravekeeper's have a story. Making a number for them wouldn't fit. Personally, I wouldn't like.
I also don't like much that 81 is a number. It doesn't fit. The same applies to 86. Why are they numbers. There were zero numbers from that archetypes in the anime. Gouche used a number when he was brainwashed by Alito, but that was all.

It's anime and it's Yu-Gi-Oh!. Where did it say it had to make sense?
It just doesn't need to make sense. But you could speculate they started to use different decks (like Gimmick Puppet) just before the numbers hit them.

They made Ties of the Brethen, they can do this shit, Deck Destruction Virus, Fallout and Reverse of Reverse to complete the POL cards once for all (Except none of these cards, except Brethen have nothing to do with the Manga, so they are DOL3 Material).

SynjoDeonecros

Ties of the Brethren wasn't an exclusive PoL card, and it was still nerfed. They'd need to do something to depower it, somehow, to keep it from being excessively abused. Then again, if it only works on the opponent, why would anyone play it?

Revolution Falcon OTK . Also Blaze Falcon and Scarlight burn; or that Bujintei Susanowo + their Bujin handtraps/gravetraps and Honest; Asura Priest + Honest too; any Utopia + Asura Strike and maybe Honest.

V's deck actually has a theme (spaceships). It's just too bad we don't see much out of it, because a non-archetype deck with spaceship theme could ends up being really awesome if done well.

Do you meant IV or V? With IV, the only thing I recall from him in that Duel Coaster thing, was his random as hell one-off monster (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Fiendish_Knight).

Any thoughts on Orichalcum Chain? It has a "balanced" cost for just Xyz Summoing with 1 less Material. And I would want it because it makes 3 Mat Xyzs easier.

I was thinking about the "V" Cards from Zexal which were made to support "Number C39: Utopia Ray V", how useful they would have been if already "V Salamander" is a "Raigeki" that burns? For these who doesn't know, these are the cards:
V Gnome (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/V_Gnome).
V Salamander (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/V_Salamander).
V Sylph (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/V_Sylph).
V Undine (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/V_Undine).
V Call (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/V_Call).

All of these, barring " V Salamnder" were forgotten in Anime land after Vector's betrayal.

Because it isn't a Fusion Material for Beastborgs, so it would just stand there as an easy attack target after searching. Asuka's return in Arc-V could be the green light to release the Cyber Angel Rituals in Duelists of Radiance

Most of the duelists in the anime that would go against Barrett don't have the ATK to get over Bronze Warrior's DEF unless they dig into their Extra Deck, and Barrett's Beastborg Emblems seal them off from doing much against him, so he can just sit behind it and keep searching for Beast-Warriors to Fuse into Beastborgs each turn.

But to use his effect, he has to be face-up. And no longer in the anime can you normal summon in defense position anymore, making it easy pickings.

Well, I suppose he could use Tenki, but I don't expect that card to be shown in the anime outside of someone playing a Fire Fist deck.

I can't believe this went out for 6 pages and no one asked for the Dartz deck yet.

*Gigas can work with a hard OPT clause. Probably would not be played though, as skipping a Draw Phase is really too harsh of a drawback.

*Kyutora would need some built-in protection to simulate the Seal's effect. Probably "cannot be targeted or destroyed while you control another Orichalcos monster". Also, counters for the negated damage. The Shunoros summoning effect should happen when it is removed from field. As Shunoros already has a card, Kyutora must summon it with its IRL effect negated and have it gain 100 ATK per counter on the Kyutora. And as Shunoros doesn't have its "summon Dexia and Aristeros" effect, that must go to Kyutora as well.

*Aristeros and Dexia should require a face-up Shunoros to stay on field.

*Geh should be able to SS itself from Deck just like Dark Sage. Now its effect is is a real problem. My idea is that it should have 0 original ATK and gain the battled monsters ATK+100 until the end of Damage Step and if it inflicts Battle Damage to the opponent, you win the Duel. Just like in the anime, it would require 10 mills to declare an attack (or maybe 10 millbanishes, as we have way too many graveyard effects now) and having it removed from field causes you to lose the Duel. I removed the "pay all your LP, but you cannot lose" part, because that's just too silly and unpractical. I'm not sure about how much built-in protection it should have, if any, because that can easily make the card too broken (if it isn't already too broken as it is).

Cyber Angels finally coming out seems more plausible now with the reveal that Asuka is going to be in Arc-V.

I really still want Valon's Armor-ability monsters. And of course Joey's Big Bang Dragon Blow and Aura Armor.
I'd actually like to see Konami explore other monsters types with the Armor-Ability after Valon's deck comes out.

Also, that Masked Knight level monster set from the first season of 5Ds.

I want more useful Yosenjus; they make a good deck, by themselves, but thanks to the nature of the metagame and tournaments, only five of the nine monsters and one of the four spells and traps are considered "good". I'd like to see more level 6 Beast Yosenjus, and some more Pendulums to make the pendulum aspect of the archetype more viable.

It just bugs me, from a story standpoint. Like, what kind of Xyz monsters did they use before they got their Numbers? We never found out, and I would've loved to see some non-Number Gimmick Puppet or Heraldic/Heraldry Xyz monsters for a change.

Also, I'm not sure if it's possible, since the cards came out in the main sets but the episode they came from was some sort of special that wasn't a confirmed part to the main series, but would /Assault Mode support be too much to ask? We've got Tenki for Assault Beast, and A Wild Monster Appears! for bringing out Assault Mode monsters when we don't have Assault Mode Activate, so...
