Keeping with the whole Halloween spirit, I figured I'd make a discussion for everyone's favorite Vanilla: Skull Servant.

Skull Servant

A skeletal ghost that isn't strong, but can mean trouble in large numbers.

The original bag o' bones himself! While it's true that he's not that strong, his true power draws from the Graveyard. But there just might be a hidden secret to his power......


King of the Skull Servants
DARK Zombie-type
Level 1

The original ATK of this card is the combined number of "King of the Skull Servants" and "Skull Servant" in your Graveyard x1000. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: You can banish 1 other "King of the Skull Servants" or 1 "Skull Servant" from your Graveyard; Special Summon this card.

The boss card of the deck, originally being able to hit a 5000 ATK cap. Nowadays, he's capable of hitting 14000. Definitely your game-ender.


The Lady in Wight
DARK Zombie-type
Level 3
0/2200
Face-up Level 3 or lower Zombie-type monsters on the field, except for "The Lady in Wight", cannot be destroyed by battle and are unaffected by Spell/Trap effects. This card's name becomes "Skull Servant" while it is in the Graveyard.

A nice protection effect for a monster with a large DEF, she'll come through in a pinch when she's not needed in the Graveyard.


Wightmare

While it is in the Graveyard, this card's name is treated as "Skull Servant". You can discard this card to activate 1 of the following effects. Target 1 of your banished "Skull Servant" or "Wightmare"; return it to your Graveyard. Target 1 of your banished "The Lady in Wight" or "King of the Skull Servants"; Special Summon it.

This is where the support gets good. Being able to effectively give your King 2000 ATK for free is nice, or even just summoning a King that you used to revive another!


Wightprince

If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can send 1 "Skull Servant" and 1 "The Lady in Wight" from your hand and/or Deck to the Graveyard. You can banish 2 "Skull Servants" and this card from your Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "King of the Skull Servants" from your Deck. This card's name becomes "Skull Servant" while it is in the Graveyard.

The final monster in the Archetype, and it does a phenomenal job at what it does, being able to deck thin AND summon a potential big beater straight out of the deck.

Two cards to keep in mind if you decide on using Elemental HERO Prisma or Fusion Conscription to get Skull Servant out of the deck. Be advised that Zombie Warrior is OCG Only at the moment.

Zombie Master

Once per turn: You can send 1 monster from your hand to the Graveyard, then target 1 Level 4 or lower Zombie-type monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target. This card must be face-up on the field to activate and to resolve this effect.

Shutendoji
EARTH Zombie-type

Once per turn: You can activate 1 of these effects.
Banish 2 Zombie-type mosnters from your Graveyard; draw 1 card.
Target 1 of your banished Zombie-type monsters; place that target on the top of your Deck.

Uni-Zombie

You can target 1 face-up monster on the field; discard 1 card, and if you do, increase that target's Level by 1. You can target 1 face-up monster on the field; monsters you control cannot attack for the rest of this turn, except Zombie-type monsters, also send 1 Zombie-type monster from your Deck to the Graveyard, and if you do, increase that target's Level by 1. You can only use each effect of "Uni-Zombie" once per turn.

The standard Zombie Six, as I call them. Goblin Zombie gets you all but Lady, Pyramid Turtle summons all but Lady, Mezuki summons all from Grave, as does Zombie Master, Shutendoji can recycle banished monsters, and Uni-Zombie can make stupid plays with Prince.


Phalanx Pike
Equip Spell Card
The equipped monster gains 900 ATK for each card in either Graveyard that has the same name it does.

This is a fun card that I saw being used at my locals once. Give it to OG Skull Servant and suddenly "trouble in large numbers" makes sense. By having a mere 3 Wights in the Grave, he instantly becomes a 3000 ATK beater. At max power, he swings for 10200, and that's not even considering a mirror match!


Opti-Camouflage Armor
Equip Spell Card
Equip only to a Level 1 monster. The equipped monster can attack your opponent directly.

Give it to King or a Pike'd Skull Servant and auto-win.


Foolish Burial
Normal Spell Card
Send 1 monster from your Deck to the Graveyard.

Burial from a Different Dimension
Quick-Play Spell Card
Target up to 3 banished monsters; return them to the Graveyard.

One for One
Normal Spell Card
Send 1 monster from your hand to the Graveyard; Special Summon 1 Level 1 monster from your hand or Deck.

Where Arf Thou?
Normal Spell Card
If you control a face-up Level 1 monster: Add 1 Level 1 monster from your Deck to your hand. During the End Phase of this turn, take 2000 damage if you did not Normal Summon the added monster, or a card with the same name, after activating this card.

Shiranui Style: Swallow Sword
Normal Trap Card
Tribute 1 Zombie-type monster, then target 2 cards on the field; destroy them, then banish 1 "Shiranui" monster from your Deck. You can only activate 1 "Shiranui Style: Swallow Sword" per turn.

Standard support cards to help your deck run. Foolish becomes a mill 3 with Prince, Burial helps recover from King banishes, One for One summons King, Arf searches King, and Swallow Sword is literally Icarus Attack, though you could try Shiranui with the deck as well.

Also, does anyone have any side deck cards to use against Kozmos? IIW shuts Wights down almost as much as it does Kozmos.
