If this card Destroys a Monster by battle: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to that destroyed monster's ATK.

    When Link Monsters were announced, I proposed that Konami might release cards that allow us to play old Extra Deck monsters in the Main Monster Zones, but with some kind of restrictions. Today, I show you how I would design such cards myself.

    Some cards allow the player to play one type of Extra Deck summon as we do without Link, while others focus on allowing the player to use a combination of summons, even under the restrictions placed by other cards in this archetype. Anyway, welcome the Summoning Servers and Towers!


    Synchro Summoning Server
    Field Spell Card

    You can only activate this card if you don't control monsters summoned from the Extra Deck, except Synchro monsters. You cannot summon monsters from your Extra Deck, except Synchro Monsters. You can Special Summon Synchro Monsters from your Extra Deck to your Main Monster Zones, but cannot summon monsters to any Extra Monster Zone.
    When this card leaves the field: Destroy all Synchro Monsters you control.

    Xyz Summoning Server
    Field Spell Card

    You can only activate this card if you don't control monsters summoned from the Extra Deck, except Xyz monsters. You cannot summon monsters from your Extra Deck, except Xyz Monsters. You can Special Summon Xyz Monsters from your Extra Deck to your Main Monster Zones, but cannot summon monsters to any Extra Monster Zone.
    When this card leaves the field: Destroy all Xyz Monsters you control.

    Fusion Summoning Tower
    Continuous Spell Card

    You can only activate this card if you don't control monsters Link Monsters. You cannot summon Link Monsters. You can Special Summon Fusion Monsters from your Extra Deck to your Main Monster Zones, ignoring the effects of any "Summoning Server" spell card on the field, but cannot summon monsters to any Extra Monster Zone.
    When this card leaves the field: Destroy all Fusion Monsters you control.

    AR Summoning Tower
    Continuous Spell Card

    You can only activate this card if you don't control monsters Link Monsters. You cannot summon Link Monsters. If you use at least 1 Fusion or Synchro monster as Xyz Material, you can Special Summon Xyz Monsters from your Extra Deck to your Main Monster Zones, ignoring the effects of any "Summoning Server" spell card on the field, but cannot summon monsters to any Extra Monster Zone.
    When this card leaves the field: Destroy all Xyz Monsters you control.

    Pendulum Summoning Tower
    Continuous Spell Card

    You can only activate this card if you don't control monsters Link Monsters. You cannot summon Link Monsters. You can Pendulum Summon Pendulum Monsters that are face-up in your Extra Deck to your Main Monster Zones, but cannot summon monsters to any Extra Monster Zone. You can summon Fusion, Synchro or Xyz monsters from your Extra Deck to your Main Monster Zones, but if you do, all materials must be Pendulum Monsters.
    If you control a "Summoning Server" or "Summoning Tower" spell card, except "Pendulum Summoning Tower": Destroy this card.
    When this card leaves the field: Banish all monsters you control.

    Broadcast
    Spell Card

    You can only activate this card if you don't control Link Monsters. Add 1 "Summoning Tower" or 1 "Summoning Server" spell card from your deck to your hand, but you cannot activate "Summoning Tower" or "Summoning Server" spell cards this turn, except cards with the same name as the card added to your hand by this effect. You can only activate 1 "Broadcast" per turn.

    This is going to bug me: I get most of the references, except for Attention Seeking Clone. Who is that supposed to represent? (I assume Forgotten One refers to the actual oracle that drops out of the series halfway through).

    Using my extensive knowledge of wrestling, I made new Gouki. I'm working on new Link Monsters for them, but they're not finished.

    What do you think their English name will be? Wrestlemaniacs?
