alright then, let's get things started

Perfect for October, it's the Wight theme! (Because I would probably judge too harshly on a Ghostrick contest.) From humble beginnings as a legendarily weak Normal Monster, the Wights were first granted the half-joke support of King of the Skull Servants and have slowly gained more cards ever since. They've also benefited from a good chunk of more general Zombie support.

The primary goal of the Wight deck hasn't changed much since its inception, dumping Wights into the Graveyard to make "trouble in numbers" a very real threat in the form of King of the Skull Servants. With 1000 ATK for every (un?)dead Skull Servant and other Kings, and the ability to revive himself upon destruction by banishing one of them from the Graveyard, he can end games quickly if your opponent isn't expecting it.

Much of the more recent cadre of Wights supports this goal, with Wightmare getting you back your banished Wights, Lady in Wight providing protection to your bone-chilling army, and Wightprince murdering his own parents whenever he's sent to the Graveyard as well as pulling a King out of your Deck in a pinch.

So my challenge to you all is to make some stylish and powerful Wight cards to lend a helping hand to our favorite skeleton army. No limits on card types - feel free to toss me an old-timey Equip Spell or a fresh-as-hell Wight Pendulum. Anything's game!

Personally, I have a few ideas on interesting ways to make Wight support, but I'd rather see what you guys come up with on your own first.

Have fun and show me you've got some backbone!

I do like myself a good Skeleton Swarm. (Note: Assume that "King of the Skull Servants" is a "Wight" card.)

    Skull Servant 1
    DARK / Level 1 / Zombie / Effect
    ATK 300 / DEF 200
(This card's name is always treated as "Skull Servant".)
Once per turn: You can excavate the top 3 cards of your Deck; send any excavated Zombie-Type monster to the Graveyard, then return the remaining cards to the Deck.

    Skull Servant 2
    DARK / Level 1 / Zombie / Effect
    ATK 300 / DEF 200
(This card's name is always treated as "Skull Servant".)
When this card is sent from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard by a card effect: You can add 1 "Wight" monster or "Skull Servant" from your Deck to your hand.

    Skull Servant 3
    DARK / Level 1 / Zombie / Effect
    ATK 300 / DEF 200
(This card's name is always treated as "Skull Servant".)
Cannot be destroyed by battle while you control another face-up Zombie-Type monster.

    Wight Knight
    DARK / Rank 1 / Zombie / Xyz / Effect
    ATK 1600 / DEF 1200
    3 Level 1 Zombie-Type monsters
This card gains 400 ATK and DEF for each Zombie-Type Xyz Material attached to it. Once per turn: You can send 1 Zombie-Type monster from your hand or your side of the field to the Graveyard; Special Summon 1 Zombie-Type monster from your hand or Deck with the same Level as that monster, but with a different name. If a Zombie-Type monster you control is targeted for an attack: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; make this card the attack target instead. This card's name becomes "Skull Servant" while it is in the Graveyard.

    Wight Wedding
    Continuous Spell Card
Once per turn, if you control a "The Lady in Wight": You can activate 1 of the following effects. ● Special Summon 1 "King of the Skull Servants" from your hand or Graveyard. ● Special Summon 1 "Wightprince" from your hand or Deck. ● Banish 1 "Wightmare" from your Graveyard; add 1 "Wight" card or "Skull Servant" from your Deck to your hand.

    Wight Washing
    Quick-Play Spell Card
Target 1 monster in your Graveyard, except a "Wight" monster or "Skull Servant"; that monster's name becomes "Skull Servant" while it is in your Graveyard.

    Into the Wight
    Normal Trap Card
When a monster you control, except a "Wight" monster or "Skull Servant", is destroyed (by battle or by card effect) and sent to the Graveyard: That destroyed monster's name becomes "Skull Servant" while it is in the Graveyard.

    It's all Wight!
    Spell/Normal
Activate only during the Main Phase 1. Destroy all "Wight" monster(s) you control: send to the Graveyard, cards your opponent controls, up to the number "Wight" monsters destroyed by this effect. Your opponent takes no damage until the end of their next turn.

    A Wight Fright!
    Spell/Normal
Banish 5 Zombie-type monsters from your Graveyard: Special Summon 1 "Wight" monster from your Extra Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions. You can only activate the effect of "A Wight Fright!" once per Duel.

    Wighterror
    DARK
    Zombie-type/Fusion/Effect
    LV1 0/0
    3 "Skull Servant"
Must be Fusion Summoned by sending the above cards you control to the Graveyard, and can not be Special Summoned in other ways. (You do not use "Polymerization")
Can not be targeted by attacks or card effects while you control a "Wight" monster or "Skull Servant". You can target 1 "Skull Servant" you control, it gains "3500" ATK until the End Phase, but it can not attack directly. This card's name becomes "Skull Servant" while it is in the Graveyard.

    Wight Butler
    DARK
    Zombie-type/Xyz/Effect
    Rank 1
    3 Level 1 Normal Zombie-type monsters
    ?/0
This card gains 500 ATK for every "Skull Servant" in your Graveyard. Once per turn, if a "Wight" monster you control is targeted for an attack: you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, negate that an attack. If this card is sent to the Graveyard with no Xyz Materials, you can Special Summon 1 "Wight" monster from your deck, but your opponent takes no further damage that turn. This card's name becomes "Skull Servant" while it is in the Graveyard.

Well, this thread is going through a dull phase at the moment. So here's some assorted cards I've had laying around for a while to pick things up around here.

    Gilti-Gearfried the Mystic Steel Knight
    EARTH / Level 7 / Warrior / Fusion / Effect
    ATK 2700 / DEF 1600
"Gilita the D. Knight" + "Gearfried the Iron Knight"
Must be Fusion Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Once per turn: You can target 1 other monster on the field; negate that target's effects, until the End Phase. When this card declares an attack: It gains ATK equal to half its DEF during damage calculation only. If this card declares a direct attack, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step.

    Steam Warrior
    WATER / Level 6 / Warrior / Synchro / Effect
    ATK 1800 / DEF 2400
"Steam Synchron" + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can add 1 "Junk" card or "Synchron" card from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can Special Summon as many "Steam Tokens" (Machine-Type/WATER/Level 3/ATK 600/DEF 800) as possible, then Set and shuffle every monster you control. During the End Phase, or if this card leaves the field, destroy every "Steam Token" Summoned by this card's effect.

    Satellite Dragon Cannon
    LIGHT / Rank 5 / Machine / Xyz / Effect
    ATK 0 / DEF 0
    2 Level 5 Machine-Type monsters
Cannot be destroyed by battle with a monster without a Rank. Once per turn: You can detach 2 Xyz Materials from this card; destroy this card during the End Phase of this turn, also double this card's ATK. During each of your End Phases: This card gains 2000 ATK. If this card attacks, this increased ATK returns to 0, after damage calculation.

    Divine Serpent Geh
    DIVINE / Level 10 / Divine-Beast / Effect
    ATK 0 / DEF 0
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) when a Level 10 or higher monster you control is destroyed, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. You never take damage. You must send 8 cards from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard to declare an attack with this card. This card is unaffected by other cards' effects. Cannot be destroyed, except by battle with a monster with the same Level and ATK as this card. If this card attacks a monster that cannot destroy it: Destroy that monster before damage calculation. If this card destroys an Attack Position monster with this effect, or if it attacks your opponent directly, you win the Duel. If this card is destroyed, you lose the Duel.
