    Fiend Buster Destruction Sword
    DARK / Level 2 / Fiend / Effect
    ATK 800 / DEF 600
You can target 1 "Buster Blader" you control; equip this monster from your hand or your side of the field to that target. While this card is equipped to a monster, face-up monsters your opponent controls cannot activate their effects. You can send this Equip Card to the Graveyard; this turn, you can Normal Summon 1 "Buster Blader" monster without Tributing in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. (You can only gain this effect once per turn.)

    Paladin of Cybernetic Dragon
    LIGHT / Level 4 / Warrior / Effect
    ATK 1900 / DEF 1400
You can Ritual Summon this card with "Dragon Paladin Ritual". You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "Cyber Dragon" monster from your hand or Deck. Once per turn: You can discard 1 monster; during this turn's Battle Phase, if this card attacks an opponent's monster, destroy that monster after damage calculation, then inflict 500 damage to your opponent.

This is a small set of cards I made that are based on the Dervishes from Duelyst. They're not the best, but they're at least playable. Feedback would be much appreciated!

    Ethereal Obelysk
    Level 2
    LIGHT/Rock/Effect
    0/2000
When this card is Special or Flip Summoned, and during each of your Standby Phases, Special Summon 1 “Dervish Token” (Level 3/Spellcaster/ATK 1400/DEF 1400) in attack position. Destroy it during the End Phase.

    Windstorm Obelysk
    Level 3
    WIND/Rock/Pendulum/Effect
    Scale 1/1
    0/1700
Pendulum Effect: During each of your Standby Phases, Special Summon 1 “Dervish Token” (Level 3/Spellcaster/ATK 1400/DEF 1400) in attack position. Destroy it during the End Phase.
Monster Effect: All face-up “Dervish” and “Obelysk” monsters you control gain 500 DEF.

    Firestorm Obelysk
    Level 3
    FIRE/Rock/Pendulum/Effect
    Scale 4/4
    0/1700
Pendulum Effect: During each of your Standby Phases, Special Summon 1 “Dervish Token” (Level 3/Spellcaster/ATK 1400/DEF 1400) in attack position. Destroy it during the End Phase.
Monster Effect: All face-up “Dervish” and “Obelysk” monsters you control gain 500 ATK.

    Orb Weaver
    Level 3
    EARTH/Spellcaster/Effect
    1400/1400
(This card is always treated as a “Dervish” card.)
When this card is Summoned, you can activate one of the following effects:
*Special Summon 1 “Dervish Token” (Level 3/Spellcaster/ATK 1400/DEF 1400) in attack position.
*Special Summon 1 "Dervish" or "Obelysk" monster from your hand or Extra Deck. If you activate this effect, you cannot Special Summon monsters this turn, except for "Obelysk" and "Dervish" monsters.

    Sand Howler
    Level 3
    EARTH/Beast/Effect
    1400/1400
(This card is always treated as a “Dervish” card.)
Cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects. Once per turn, when a “Dervish” monster you control inflicts battle damage to your opponent, you can add 1 “Dervish” or “Obelysk” card from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand.

    Rasha’s Curse
    Quick-Play Spell
Target 1 Spell/Trap card on the field; destroy it, and if you do, Special Summon 1 “Dervish Token” (Level 3/Warrior/ATK 1400/DEF 1400) in attack position. Destroy it during the End Phase.

    Star’s Fury
    Normal Trap
Special Summon a number of “Dervish Tokens” (Level 3/Warrior/ATK 1400/DEF 1400) equal to the number of monsters your opponent controls in attack position. Destroy the Tokens summoned by this card’s effect during the End Phase.

That would be a Machine-Type monster. All the Paladins are the same type as the monster they are supposed to be Paladin of.

I'm working on a new series of monsters right now. Haven't got a lot of examples yet. But trying to lay down how this Mutant-Type works.

Mutant is a monster type. There are some normal non-effect mutant monsters without a second typing. Most mutant monsters share an effect that grants them a second typing.

In Gemini mutant monsters are treated as Normal while in the Deck and grant second typing upon second summon along with effect. They are also able to be second summoned during the Standby Phase of your next turn without using up your regular Normal Summon.

In Ritual mutant monsters must be summoned by banishing a specific named material monster and can be summoned from the Deck or Graveyard. They are also able to be shuffled from your hand into the deck to draw a single card but this may only be done once in a turn and by only 1 mutant ritual monster that turn. All mutant Ritual monsters require an "Mutant Evolution" Ritual card.

In Fusion mutant monsters are the sum of a mutant type monster and another monster that could be mutant. They gain a second type when summoned. Fusion mutant monsters are contact fusioned by banishing at least the first mutant material from the field and the other material from the hand or field. Current known Fusion mutants fuse with Nephytys or Dark Nephtys in your hand. When a Fusion mutant is destroyed its banished materials are sent to the Graveyard.

In Synchro mutant monsters are tuned with tuner monsters by adding the levels of all materials used to summon a monster. Mutant Synchro monsters are usually the attribute of the tuner monster used to tune the other monster. Apocalypse Seed is currently the only known Tuner. Synchro mutants can be tributed to Special Summon a specific Banished mutant monster if the Synchro mutant did not battle the same turn.

In Xyz mutant monsters are summoned by overlaying banished specific mutant monsters with the same levels. Xyz Materials used for an effect are sent to the bottom of the deck.

    2 Level 2 Normal Monsters
Unaffected by other monsters' effects. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can target 3 "Burgesstoma" Trap Cards in your Graveyard; shuffle all 3 into the Deck, then draw 2 cards. If this card has a Trap Card as Xyz Material: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Special Summon 1 "Burgesstoma" Trap Card from your Deck as a Normal Monster (Aqua-Type/WATER/Level 2/ATK 1200/ DEF 0). You can only use this effect of "Burgesstoma Wiwaxia" once per turn.
    ATK/1200 DEF/1200

    Red-Eyes:
    Spoiler Alert!
    Red-Eyes Meteor Dragon
    真紅眼の流星竜 (レッドアイズ・メテオ・ドラゴン)

During your Standby Phase: You can reveal this card in your hand; this card's Level becomes 7. This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is a Normal Monster on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it become an Effect Monster with this effect.
    ● Once per turn: You can send 1 "Red-Eyes" Normal Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to the Graveyard. During the Main Phase this turn, you can activate the effect of that Spell/Trap Card in your Graveyard (even if you no longer control this face-up card).
    ATK/1800 DEF/2000

    Red-Eyes Spirits Dragon
    真紅眼の意気竜 (レッドアイズ・スピリッツ・ドラゴン)
    [Dragon/Fusion/Effect] ×7

    ● During either player's turn: You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 DARK Dragon-Type Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck in Attack Position, but return it to the Extra Deck during your next End Phase.
    ● During either player's turn: You can Special Summon 1 Rank 7 or 8 DARK Dragon-Type Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck by using this face-up card you control as the Xyz Material, but return it to the Extra Deck if it has no Xyz Material.
    ATK/2000 DEF/2400

    Bolide Meteor Black Dragon
    火球竜メテオ・ブラック・ドラゴン (かきゅうりゅうメテオ・ブラック・ドラゴン)
    [Dragon/Fusion/Effect] ×8
    1 Level 6 EARTH Normal Monster + 1 "Red-Eyes" Normal Monster
You can only Special Summon "Bolide Meteor Black Dragon(s)" once per turn. Double the ATK and DEF this card gains by card effects. Once per turn, during either player's turn, if this is a Fusion Summoned card: You can target 1 "Red-Eyes" Normal Monster in your Graveyard; this card gains ATK equal to its Level x 100, then shuffle it into the Deck.
    ATK/3500 DEF/2000

    Meteor Archfiend of Lightning
    流星の鳴神-メテオ・デーモン (りゅうせいのなるかみ-メテオ・デーモン)
    [Fiend/Xyz/Effect] ×6
    2 Level 6 monsters
All monsters in your Graveyard are treated as Normal Monsters, except "Red-Eyes B. Chick". When this card is Xyz Summoned: You can discard 1 Level 6 or higher monster; Special Summon 1 Gemini Monster from your Deck or Graveyard. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Special Summon 1 Level 1 DARK Dragon-Type monster from your Deck.
    ATK/2500 DEF/2000

You may want to look at "Paladin of Photon Dragon" again.

Ah, I forgot about that black sheep. That typing makes no sense given both Paladin of White AND Dark are dragon-types, not warriors. And what would a warrior be doing in a Cyber Dragon deck?

    Tome of Hideous Knowledge
    Normal Spell
Effect: You can only activate "Tome of Hideous Knowledge" once per turn. Activate 1 of the following effects, but you cannot Special Summon monsters, except Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz monsters, for the rest of the turn:
    * Tribute 1 level 4 non-Tuner monster you control; Special Summon 1 "Elder Entity" Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. Return it to the Extra Deck at the end of the turn.
    * Tribute 1 Level 4 Tuner monster you control; Special Summon 1 "Old Entity" Synchro monster from your Extra Deck. Return it to the Extra Deck at the end of the turn.
    * Target 1 level 4 non-Tuner monster you control; Special Summon 1 "Outer Entity" Xyz monster from your Extra Deck, and attach the targeted monster to it as Xyz material. Return it to the Extra Deck at the end of the turn.

    Old Entity Etaqua
    Wind/Level 4/Beast-Warrior/Synchro/Effect
    2200/100
    1 Tuner Monster + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Effect: If this card is targeted by an opponent's card (either for attack or by a card effect): you can banish this card face-up until your next Standby Phase, then destroy the card that targeted it. You can only activate this effect once per turn.

    Baphomet, the Enlightened One
    Light/Rank 10/Fiend/Xyz/Effect
    1000/1000
    3 level 10 monsters
Effect: Once per turn: you can detach 1 Xyz material from this card; excavate the top 5 cards in your deck, then select 1 to add to your hand. The rest are shuffled back into the deck.

"Is it so important that you win one last argument with him?"
"No, it is not, but it is true that I will miss the arguments; they were, finally, all that we had."

After agonizing juggling between Ziz's Konglong, Eva's Terrordrakes, and Hope's Brightwings I've eventually decided on the winner, and that winner is... @Hope in the Interstice with Brightwings!...goddammit I don't know how to mention properly...

It wasn't an easy decision, hence why it took so damn long, I do apologize for that.
