Huh, no one was interested in the Halloween CaC challenge. Oh well. Here is the completed 8 cards for my entry. The idea around the monsters is that , except for Whisper Helm, they are all the souls of of dead Psychic Synchro monsters.

    #GHOSTOBER2017

    Psychic Soul - Whisper Helm
    EARTH ***
    [Psychic/Effect/Tuner/Armor]

During your Draw Phase: Instead of your normal draw, you can banish 1 card in your hand; Send 1 Psychic monster from your Deck to the GY then Special Summon 1 "Psychic Soul" Armor monster in your GY. If this card is sent to the GY: Banish it. You can Special Summon this banished card during your Standby Phase. This card cannot attack. While you control this card: Banish non-Armor monsters you control. Only 1 Armor monster(and no other monsters) can attack during each of your Battle Phases. If this monster is targeted for an attack, you can change the target to another Armor monster you control.

    ATK/0 DEF/0

    Psychic Soul - Thoughtwing Harness
    DARK *****
    [Psychic/Effect/Armor]

One of your "Psychic Soul" Armor monsters can attack directly each turn. When this monster is summoned from the GY: You can shuffle up to 2 Psychic monsters in your GY into the Deck. If this monster battles a monster: Shuffle a Spell/Trap card on the field face-up into the Deck and banish it if it is removed from the Deck other than by drawing. Send this banished card to the GY during the End Phase. Only 1 Armor monster(and no other monsters) can attack during each of your Battle Phases. If this monster is targeted for an attack, you can change the target to another Armor monster you control.

    ATK/0 DEF/0

    Psychic Soul - Conductor Gauntlet
    EARTH ***
    [Psychic/Effect/Armor]

"Psychic Soul" monsters with Psychic Counters are unaffected by your opponent's monster effects while battling. When this card battles: Add 1 "Mindhaunt" Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand at the start of the Battle Step and banish both monsters at the end of the Damage Step. Send this banished card to the GY during the End Phase. Only 1 Armor monster(and no other monsters) can attack during each of your Battle Phases. If this monster is targeted for an attack, you can change the target to another Armor monster you control.

    ATK/0 DEF/0

    Psychic Soul - Droidspell Robe
    LIGHT **
    [Psychic/Effect/Armor]

When a Psychic monster is Special Summoned from the GY: Increase your LP by 600 then place 1 Psychic Counter on that monster. "Psychic Soul" monsters gain 200 ATK/DEF for each Psychic Counter on the field. When an Armor monster is targeted by a card effect: You can remove 1 Psychic Counter on the field to negate that card effect, shuffle that card face-up in to the Deck and banish it if it is removed from the Deck other than by drawing. This monster cannot attack. Send this banished card to the GY during the End Phase. Only 1 Armor monster(and no other monsters) can attack during each of your Battle Phases. If this monster is targeted for an attack, you can change the target to another Armor monster you control.

    ATK/0 DEF/2000

    Psychic Soul - Dreadclaw Piler
    WIND ***
    [Psychic/Effect/Armor]

Monsters your opponent controls that can make an attack must attack during their Battle Phase. When this card battles: You can move all Psychic Counters on your field to this card and if you do this card gains 400 ATK for each Psychic Counter on it but they are removed at the end of the battle. If this card is destroyed by battle: You can banish 1 card in the same column as the monster it battled. Send this banished card to the GY during the End Phase. Only 1 Armor monster(and no other monsters) can attack during each of your Battle Phases. If this monster is targeted for an attack, you can change the target to another Armor monster you control.

    ATK/0 DEF/0

    Psychic Soul - Duo Blaster
    EARTH ******
    [Psychic/Effect/Armor]

This monster can make two attacks each Battle Phase. Gain 1000 LP at the start of the Battle Step when this monster battles. This monster gains 500 ATK each time you gain LP. When this Defense Position monster battles: Inflict the difference between its DEF and the attacking monster's ATK as battle damage to your opponent. Send this banished card to the GY during the End Phase. Only 1 Armor monster(and no other monsters) can attack during each of your Battle Phases. If this monster is targeted for an attack, you can change the target to another Armor monster you control.

    ATK/500 DEF/0

    Mindhaunt Armor Gravitation
    Normal Spell

Special Summon up to 4 "Psychic Soul" Armor monsters from the GY and then place 1 Psychic Counter on each Psychic monster you control. Monsters Special Summoned by this card are banished at the end of this turn (even in the GY). You can Banish this card in your GY to add 1 "Psychic Soul - Whisper Helm" from your Deck to your hand. Shuffle this banished card into your Deck during the End Phase and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Psychic Soul" Armor monster from your GY. Only 1 "Mindhaunt Armor Gravitation" can be activated per turn.

    Mindhaunt Synapse Burst
    Quickplay Spell

Pay 1000 or 2000 LP: During this turn's Battle Phase only, increase the ATK if in Attack Position or the DEF if in Defense Position of all "Psychic Soul" Armor monsters you control by the amount paid until after each monster's first battle. This effect of "Mindhaunt Synapse Burst" can only be used once per turn. When a "Psychic Soul" monster would be destroyed: Banish this card in your GY instead. Shuffle this banished card into your Deck during the End Phase and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Psychic Soul" Armor monster from your GY.

Dammit, I knew that I'd forgotten something. I blame the banlist and that adorable Crystal Beast card...

I was interested, but I have had very little time lately to think a theme for the cards. The theme idea just came yesterday, but I still lack some cards, so I won't be able to post them in time. I'm sorry.

I meant to add these at some point for #GHOSTOBER2017 , but like I said, I clean forgot about it. I made these for a fanfiction that's currently still in immense concept for various reasons. They're sort of a merge of two concepts that I like to explore; the decks from which certain Number monsters first originated, and concepts based on suggested Duel Masters decks from the old Scholastic guides.

Crack Writher, the Prophet of Demolition
Level 2 EARTH Zombie Effect Monster
    ATK/1000
    DEF/1000
If you control no monsters: You can Special Summon this card from your GY. You can only use this effect of "Crack Writher, the Prophet of Demolition" twice per Duel. If this card is sent to the GY: You can return 1 "Prophet of Demolition" monster from your GY to your hand except "Crack Writher, the Prophet of Demolition".

Twist Vile, the Prophet of Demolition
Level 2 EARTH Zombie Effect Monster
    ATK/800
    DEF/0
Once per turn: You can discard 1 monster and target 1 "Prophet of Demolition" monster in your GY; Special Summon it. If this card is sent to the GY: You can return 1 "Prophet of Demolition" monster from your GY to your hand except "Twist Vile, the Prophet of Demolition".

Burrow Horrid, the Prophet of Demolition
Level 2 EARTH Zombie Effect Monster
    ATK/1000
    DEF/1300
At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles: Your opponent discards 1 card. Once per turn: You can send 1 "Prophet of Demolition" card from your Deck to your GY. If this card is sent to the GY: You can return 1 "Prophet of Demolition" monster from your GY to your hand except "Burrow Horrid, the Prophet of Demolition".

Displace Feather, the Prophet of Demolition
Level 2 EARTH Zombie Effect Monster
    ATK/1300
    DEF/0
If you control no monsters: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is sent to the GY: You can return 1 "Prophet of Demolition" monster from your GY to your hand except "Displace Feather, the Prophet of Demolition".

Disaster Chaos, the Prophet of Demolition
Rank 2 EARTH Zombie Effect Monster
    ATK/2000
    DEF/0
2 or more Level 2 monsters
When this card is Xyz Summoned using only EARTH Zombie monsters as Xyz Material: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; destroy it. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can detach 1 material from this card, then target 1 card your opponent controls; return that target to the hand, and if you do, send all copies of that card in your opponent's Deck to the GY. You can only use 1 effect of "Disaster Chaos, the Prophet of Demolition" per turn, and only once that turn.

Amber Gazer, the Prophet of Demolition
Rank 2 EARTH Zombie Effect Monster
    ATK/2100
    DEF/0
2 or more Level 2 monsters
When this card declares an attack: You can detach 1 material from this card, then target 1 monster in your GY: add it to your hand. If this Xyz Summoned card is destroyed: You can Special Summon any materials that were attached to this card when it was destroyed.

    Critical Demolition
    Quick-Play Spell Card
(This card is always treated as a "Prophet of Demolition" card.)
Target 1 Defense Position monster your opponent controls; destroy it. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can banish this card from your GY; add 1 "Prophet of Demolition" monster from your Deck to your hand.

    Resolution Demolition
    Normal Spell Card
(This card is always treated as a "Prophet of Demolition" card.)
Target 1 Attack Position monster your opponent controls; destroy it. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can banish this card from your GY; add 1 "Prophet of Demolition" monster from your Deck to your hand.

    Link non-VRAINS Pack
After the positive feedback we received about the Link VRAINS Pack, its successor is on its way! Link non-VRAINS Pack focuses more on themes and archetypes used by popular characters that appeared in each and every Yu-Gi-Oh! animated season, from the fan-favourite Joey Wheeler's Red-Eyes Deck to the dark and creepy Gimmick Puppets used by Quattro in Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL!
Four decks have been selected for each season, and new powerful Link Monsters will make their appereance! From powerful Dragons to wicked ghosts, ancient machines created to smash whatever crosses their path to powerful combatants that fight on the ring, Link non-VRAINS Pack will catch you by surprise and upgrade your decks to the most recent game mechanic, Link Monsters!
... Wait, there's more! Even a theme that wasn't supposed to make its appareance has made its way into this Booster Pack! Cubic Moksa, a new, powerful Cubic Link Monster that gains effect if Vijam the Cubic Seed is linked to it! It can even summon the powerful Crimson Nova Trinity the Dark Cubic Lord by itself...!

Link non-VRAINS Pack includes 100 cards: 5 Ultra Rares, 15 Super Rares, 25 Rares, 55 Commons.

    Early Spoilers:

    Red-Eyes Soul
DARK Dragon / Link / Effect
    Link 2 1700 / B L

    2 DARK monsters
    (1) When this card is Link Summoned, if you control no other monsters: You can Special Summon 1 "Red-Eyes" monster from your hand.
    (2) You can tribute 1 Dragon you control or in your hand; Draw 1 card, then, if the tributed monster in your GY is a Normal Monster, you can add 1 "Red-Eyes" Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand.
    (3) When this card leaves the field because of an opponent's card (either by battle or card effect): Banish this card and 1 other "Red-Eyes" monster from your hand or side of the field; Special Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck that lists a "Red-Eyes" monster as material, also it cannot be destroyed by battle or targeted by your opponent's cards effects this turn. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon.)
You can only use each effect of "Red-Eyes Soul" once per turn.

LORE: The Soul represents the potential of the Red-Eyes user.
USAGE: It opens up Ritual, Fusion and Xyz plays inside of its theme, and even allows you to play a Hieratic engine.

    Pitch Black Luster Soldier
DARK Warrior / Link / Effect
    Link 2 2400 / B R

2 monsters, including 1 "Gaia the fierce knight" monster
    (1) Banish 1 LIGHT or DARK Warrior from your Deck; Special Summon 1 "Gaia the fierce knight" monster from your hand, Deck or GY to a zone this card points to, but it becomes level 4, also it cannot be used for a tribute, fusion, synchro, xyz or link summon.
    (2) During the Standby Phase: You can remove 2 Spell Counters from your side of the field; Take 1 "Super Soldier" card from your Deck and either add it to your hand or set it to your side of the field (if it was a Spell/Trap) in a zone in the same column as this card. It can be activated this turn.
You can only activate 1 effect of "Pitch Black Luster Soldier" per turn, and only once that turn.

LORE: Nothing comes to mind. BLS doesn't have a definite lore by itself...
USAGE: Fetch Gaia and opens ritual plays, or make use of those Spell Counters and add whatever you need. Makes Rebirth and Shield more consistent.

    Curse of the Destruction Sword
DARK Fiend / Link / Effect
    Link 2 400 / BL BR

    2 effect monsters, including a Warrior and/or a Dragon
    (1) When this card is Link Summoned: Banish "Buster Dragon" from your GY or Extra Deck; Add 1 level 4 or lower "Destruction Sword" monster from your Deck to your hand.
    (2) If a Dragon(s) is Summoned to your opponent's side of the field: Return 1 of those monsters to the hand, then send 1 "Destruction Sword" card from your Deck to your GY.
    (3) During the Main Phase (Quick effect): Discard 1 "Buster Blader" or "Destruction Sword" card from your hand to your GY; activate 1 of the following effects.
    - Special Summon 1 "Buster Blader" monster from your hand or Deck.
    - Take 1 level 4 or lower "Destruction Sword" monster from your Deck and either equip it, or Special Summon it to a zone adjacent to, a "Buster Blader" you control.
You can only use each effect of "Curse of the Destruction Sword" once per turn.

LORE: When the evil dragon was defeated by Buster Blader, it placed a curse on its weapon, which would have turned him evil. Unfortunately, the one who was plagued the most by the curse was the companion of the warrior...
USAGE: The ideal turn-1 play would involve this... if Konami printed this.

    Cubic Moksa
LIGHT Fairy / Link / Effect
    Link 1 0 / B

1 Level 4 or higher Cubic Monster that cannot be normal summoned/set
You can also Special Summon this card (from your Extra Deck) by sending 1 monster with a Cubic Counter(s) on it from either side of the field to the GY. You can only Special Summon "Cubic Moksa" once per turn.
    (1) If this card points to "Vijam the Cubic Seed", it gains the following effects:
    - This card cannot be destroyed by battle or targeted by your opponent's cards effects, also you take no battle damage from battles involving this card or "Cubic" monsters this card points to.
    - During the Main Phase (Quick effect): Tribute this card and banish 1 "Crimson Nova the Dark Cubic Lord" from your hand, Deck or GY; Send 1 "Cubic" card from your Deck to your GY, then put 1 Cubic Counter on a face-up monster on the field. (Monsters with a Cubic Counter cannot attack, also negate their effects).
    (2) If 3 of yours "Crimson Nova the Dark Cubic Lord" are currently banished: You can banish this card from your side of the field or GY; Special Summon "Crimson Nova Trinity the Dark Cubic Lord" from your Extra Deck, ignoring its summoning conditions. For the rest of this turn, you cannot activate cards or effects, except that monster's, also only that monster can attack.

LORE: In Hindu religion, moksa is the liberation from the eternal circle of life-death-rebirth (Samsara). This is referenced by this card's effect to banish your own monsters, thus preventing you from summoning them again.
USAGE: Protects the user, messes things up for the opponent, and summon (more or less) consistently Nova Trinity with the help of Allure and Gold Sacrophagus.

I like the idea. And the marketing introduction made me laugh.

2400 ATK with almost generic recipe may be excessiv for a Link-2. This belongs in the ATK range of a Link-3. I'd change the recipe in a way that makes it less generic. I know it would go against the trend of Link VRAINS to make almost generic recipes, but, still, Gladiator Beast Dragacius broke it already.
2 monsters, including 1 "Gaia the fierce knight"
Do you really require the original Normal "Gaia the Fierce Knight"?

    Small nitpick:
cannot be used as a material for a summon, except a Ritual Summon.
No need to except Ritual Summons, because monsters used for a Ritual Summon are not used as materials, they simply "used".

You can only Special Summon "Cubic Moksa" once per turn this way.
    (1) If this card points to "Vijam the Cubic Seed", it gains the following effects:
    - This card cannot be destroyed by battle or targeted by your opponent's cards effects, also you take no battle damage from battles involving this card or "Cubic" monsters this card points to.
    - If this card battles, at the end of the Damage Step: put 1 Cubic Counter on each face-up monster your opponent controls. (Monsters with a Cubic Counter cannot attack, also negate their effects.)
    (2) During the Main Phase (Quick effect): You can tribute this card and banish 1 "Crimson Nova the Dark Cubic Lord" from your hand, Deck or GY; Send 1 "Cubic" card from your Deck to your GY, then put 1 Cubic Counter on a face-up monster on the field. (Monsters with a Cubic Counter cannot attack, also negate their effects).
    (3) If 3 of yours "Crimson Nova the Dark Cubic Lord" are currently banished: You can banish this card from your GY; Special Summon "Crimson Nova Trinity the Dark Cubic Lord" from your Extra Deck, ignoring its summoning conditions. You cannot activate cards or effects for the rest of this turn, except the summoned monster's, also only the summoned monster can attack.
That's quite the verbose card. But I like the idea. It makes Vijam as an important piece (as it was in the movie) to keep this card stick on the field long enough to banish 3 Crimson Nova for the last effect.

I think that 2400 (or even 2500) ATK will/should be the top ATK value for Link 2 monsters, because it honestly makes no sense (to me) that the top ATK value for a monster that requires 2 monsters on the field as materials is 2000, the same top ATK that normally have Normal Summonable Level 4 monsters, no matter how generic it is. Most present Level 5/6 monsters have an average of 2400-2500 ATK and they only require 1 monster on the field to Normal Summon, so I think it's a balanced trade to give the same ATK to a monster which requires 2 monsters to Summon. Konami will probably keep the Link-ATK restrictions as they are right now, but I don't think Link monsters will become overpowered just because of a slight ATK boost.

Edit: Correcting, monsters used for a Ritual Summon are always used, that includes when they are Tributed.
