Another "MI" monster and some S/T support from both sides.

End of chapter was the result of the duel, no extra business.

9 different Mirror Imagine monsters and 5 Spell/Traps. And it looks like most if not all his monsters were in triplicate for his deck. Making it a 27 monster deck with also 3 copies of that 1 Spell card and an unknown amount of copies of his traps. We know almost the entire deck of this character, but was it worth spending 4 months on this duel when the variety pool for this manga is still so shallow?

    We've had 2 duels in 8 months.

Really makes one wonder how long this'll run.

The most surprising thinga about it is, imo, the fact we got a "Cardian" esq deck, i.e. high card volume + combo wombo, in the manga.

Given the release 'pattern' for manga cards, it's not something I would have expected. Looks like we just need to get CP Arc-V to get these themes with a lot a content released at this point.

I'd rather see less decks with a larger variety of cards, than more or less unplayable stuff like the "White" archetype.

You'll never be "Kurosaki Shun riding a backflipping Revolution Falcon then jumping on a driving motorcycle"-cool.

I'd prefer something more like the GX manga. Wide variety of characters, play styles and deck themes and far better paced than spending 8 months on 2 duels at a point barely out of the starting gate with the story's plot.

And the White deck does have a large amount of played cards. It's just that Shueisha/Konami decided to prioritize only the monsters in a deck that is 80% backrow support.

    I see. Thanks.

Not here nor there. Still, it does make you think, doesn't it?

    Good question.

That's true. Manga Decks are usually never this "generous" with the card flow, especially with a new character's first Duel. Honestly, potential Collector's Pack set-up makes it seem like this could have been done on purpose. Still, no way to tell before the Collector's Pack comes back around next year.

Concur on the "White" cards. They're pretty cool, and would be cooler if getting Spells and Traps released in real life wasn't such a hassle (for Konami, apparently).
