He is the frigging father of the one who uses a Tier 0 Deck, of course he is going to bring some busted shit (but I predict he will only use common Effect Monsters instead of Pendulums, unless they want to surprise us).

I'm kind of with the idea Yuya created Pendulums. Takes away from him if his father randomly had Pendulums first. Yusho didn't use them before he disappeared from Standard Dimension so he would have had to pick it up somehow on his interdimensional travels. Without a pendant.

I wouldn't be opposed to Yusho conceptualizing them (the Pendulum zones had to come from somewhere, and he DID partner in the creation of the ARC System).

I don't recall Yuya using Draco-Pals but more a sacky Odd-Eyes Magician&Pals deck feat. The Phantom Knights.

Pendulum Zones are the reason the duel disks in this show are holograms. Yuya inventing a new card type that has it's own zone wouldn't work if the duel disks were solid and built with specific slots for everything already in the game.

It's an evolving system. The system has never had a problem performing for cards that come out of nowhere. Ra was written in Egyptian hieroglyphs! The only instance close to that in any series was Stromberg and that card was already known to the system as a registered incomplete card until Ziegfried hacked in and wrote the rest of the card's program. Software can update itself. Hardware can't.
