    Boss Player
    Starting LP: 4000 + 8000 x Number of challengers (Max. 3)
Deck Size: Main Deck (60 Required) Extra Deck (20 Required)
Extra Notes: Similar to the Challenger Team, The Boss has 3 Special Actions he can use, to make things more difficult for the challengers.

    1) The Boss can reshuffle his graveyard and hand back into his deck by paying 2000 Life Points. (Must have less than 10 cards in his main deck to do this. Can only be used Once per Duel)
    2) The Boss can tribute a monster on his field to recover Life Points equal to half the Tributed Monster's Attack Points
    3) The Boss can banish a card from their hand to reduce all enemy monsters' attack points by the Level of the Banished Monster x 100 for a turn. (Can only be used on the Challenger's turn, and the effect lasts until the Boss' Turn)

For the Challengers, the actions the challengers can use are represented by Cards themed after Obelisk the Tormentor, Slifer the Sky Dragon, and the Winged Dragon of Ra.

-Soul of Obelisk: Double the Attack of all monsters of the Challenger Team
-Eye of Slifer: Instead of conducting their Draw Phase, the Turn Player can add 1 Card from their deck to their hand.
-Flame of Ra: Choose 1 Player; that target gains 4000 Life Points. (If the target has 0 Life Points, they can rejoin the Duel)

The main detail here is that any spell card costs 2 Speed Counters from the Speed World field spell series to activate. Ritual Spells however cost 4 counters. Some see this as a means of discouraging the use of Ritual Monsters in Duels where speed is supposed to be the most important aspect. The biggest detail however, is that the Speed World 2 card can be placed in the main deck, and used to replace Speed World at the cost of 4 Speed Counters once drawn. In return, Speed World 2 will grant a total 16 Speed Counters while in use.
-Speed Duel: A method of play drafted for beginner level players wanting to get into the game.

Though she is new to the world of Duel Monsters, she's long since loved the game since obtaining her single copy of 'Gameciel, the Sea Turtle Kaiju' and later 'Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight'. She recently mustered the courage to sign up for her first tournament where a surprise visit was made by the creator of the game. He would give her a new 'Lord Gaia the Fierce Knight' to replace the 'Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight' that she was cheated out of in an ante duel.
-'Pegasus M. Crawford' (Filler Name - Thousand Eyes Restrict)
The man behind the game of Duel Monsters in this story. Often shows his passion for the game by dueling players at big tournaments with random decks he personally builds, promising rare and powerful cards to those who can beat it. This challenge has yet to be won by any Duelist.
-??? (Name TBD - Super Quantal Mech King Great Magnus)
A mecha lover who recently got into the game via a tournament in her hometown that her father hosted for a charity. Her interest in the game was sparked when two players with Duel Disks took part in a Duel outside and one of them played certain cards.
-Zadir Ingelmas (Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon)
An agressive Duelist who specializes in piercing attacks. He also seems to love tormenting Duelists unlucky enough to go into his crosshairs, by forcing them into Ante Duels. In most cases, he loves making his opponents suffer with his cards, and very few have pushed him to quickly destroy the opposition. Thus many were surprised and horrified when a card that wasn't an Ancient Gear appeared and would proceed to demolish them.

    Other Notes
    Spoiler Alert!
-In-game, the old Dueling Arenas still exist as the manufacturer of the Duel Disk harbors a sour dislike of the recently introduced Pendulum Monsters. His rival supports the existence of this new type of Monster, and has revamped the old Dueling Arena to allow their use.
-One protagonist favors Duel Disks, while the other prefers the Dueling Arenas.

    Credits

Kazuki Takahashi - For inventing YuGiOh in the first place

I'll update this thread as more ideas for the project take shape. Hope this looks good for a start.

One thing i'll say outright is that the protagonist has a beef with him because not only did she lose her Swift Gaia to him, the rival tore it in half right there in front of her.

Made some updates to the deck recipe thread, plus an update for something in this thread with a new gameplay feature.
