    [COTD] Stargrail Deck Event

A video Showcasing the new Archetype in Code of The Duelist. Seeing as these only take place once every 3000 years, this is most certainly not a card of the day post.

    The 4 Stargrail Link Monsters

Seihairyuu Imduk / Stargrail Dragon Imduk
Wind Dragon / Link / Effect
    Link 1 800 /
    Non-Token Normal Monster – exactly 1
    (1) During your Main Phase, you can Normal Summon 1 “Stargrail” monster in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. (You can only gain this effect once per turn.)
    (2) At the beginning of the Damage Step, when this card battles an opponnent’s monster in this card’s linked Zone: You can destroy that opponent’s monster.
    (3) If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 “Stargrail” monster from your hand.

Seihari Kagura Eve / Stargrail Shrine Maiden Eve
Water Spellcaster / Link / Effect
    Link 2 1800 / :arrow_left::arrow_right:
Monsters with different Type and Attribute from each other – exactly 2
    (1) This linked card cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects, also it cannot be targeted by your opponent’s card effects.
    (2) If a monster(s) in this card’s linked Zone would be destroyed by a card effect, you can send this card to the Graveyard instead.
    (3) If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 “Stargrail” monster from your hand.

Seihai Senshi Ningirsu / Stargrail Warrior Ningirsu
Earth Warrior / Link / Effect
    Link 3 2500 / :arrow_left::arrow_up::arrow_right:
    Link Monsters – min 2
You can only use this card name’s (1) effect once per turn.
    (1) If this card is Link Summoned: Draw 1 card for each “Stargrail” monster in this card’s linked Zones.
    (2) Once per turn: You can activate this effect; send 1 card from each side of the field to the Graveyard.
    (3) If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 “Stargrail” monster from your hand.

Seihai no Shugoryuu / Stargrail’s Protector Dragon
    Wind Dragon / Effect
    LV1 400/400
You can only use this card name’s (2) effect once per turn.
    (1) When a card or effect that targets a linked monster on the field is activated: You can send this card from your hand or field to the Graveyard; negate that activation, and if you do, destroy it.
    (2) You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 Normal Monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it in Defense Position to a Link Monster’s linked Zone on your field.

Seiibutsu no Kago / Starelic’s Aegis
    Spell Normal
You can only activate 1 card with this card’s name per turn.
    (1) Target 2 “Stargrail” monsters with different names in your Graveyard; add them to your hand.
    (2) If a linked Link Monster you control would be destroyed by battle, you can banish this card from your Graveyard instead.

Seiibutsu no Michibiki / Starelic’s Guidance
    Trap Normal
    (1) Banish 1 “Starelic” monster face-up from your field or from your hand, then target 2 monsters in your Graveyard; Special Summon them, but they cannot attack this turn.

and we are back to non-targeting non-destructive removal. Ningrisu is basically free, but you can't exploit it as badly as Ignister

and it requires Links? that didn't take long

    Stargrails look fun though

ok...summon star grail,go into link spider, special star grail, link into Imduk, normal summon star grail, link into link spider,Link into Ningirsu,Chain Imduk to Ningirsu draw a card and use the monster you special'd to scrap dragon your opponent. Far-fetched? Maybe...that's why they have 6 Dark Factory of Mass Productions!!

How would that work? If you summon the 1st spider then summon imduk, the only way to summon both is have the spider and imduk mutually link to eachother. In that case, how do you get the second spider out? All your your extra monster zone and linked zones are filled.

Not half bad. The maiden eve is somewhat generic and with 2 of her you can create a "melodious lock". The link 3 guy has amazing removal. And all the link monsters special summon something when used for a link summon, comboing very well with the spell card.

I'm loving Eve for my Performapal deck. It's requirements make it far from universally useful, but at least it's not archetype locked. Being nigh invulnerable makes up for it when you can use it, and Proxy Dragon works when you can't.
Current decks: Salamangreats, Knightmare Cyberse, and Odd-Eyes Performapals
Originator of the Tulpa Summon, and the homebrewed cards you use with it.
