    [Weekly Jump] Link Disciple

This month’s V Jump Promo Card has its effect revealed. And it’s designed to help accelerate drawing through your Deck and optimizing your hand.

    VJMP-EN132 Link Disciple
LINK-1 LIGHT Cyberse-Type Link Effect Monster
    ATK 500
    Link: 1
    Link Arrow: Down
Link Materials: 1 Level 4 or lower Cyberse-Type Monster
You can only use the effect of this card’s name once per turn.
    (1) Tribute 1 monster at this card’s Link Point; Draw 1 card, then place 1 card from your hand on the bottom of your Deck.

Interesting. It mingles well Cyberse Gadget.

Also the wand/sword it is wielding is cute. Hope it's an equip spell later.

Why isn't anyone talking about this guy? He's really handy for Cyverse Monsters and that effect will be very useful.

Because his effect sucks? You go minus by using his effect.
I know what you did last summer.

nothing to really say. It's effect is fine, just tribute something that floats, etc etc

everything goes without saying and until something comes up that this card can trigger into a bigger plus, it's not going to be a conversation target. even then something else will probably do it better

For now, it's fairly useful in a pure link deck; if you don't have a token generator is easier to get out than link spider.
Current decks: Salamangreats, Knightmare Cyberse, and Odd-Eyes Performapals
Originator of the Tulpa Summon, and the homebrewed cards you use with it.

Fair enough. I imagine the Structure Deck will have more cards that trigger in the Grave. We'll get news on Circuit Break in the next V Jump, correct?

It's a companion to Tri-Gate Wizard meant to help with the mutual link effects. But likely Disciple was removed from the SD and turned into a promo.

The promos are always like that... *grumble*

But it does confirm we're getting a Link 4 as the final Link Monster of the Structure Deck though. That'll be interesting to see.

And, going by the naming scheme, it's probably going to be a Magician as well. Might be a neat budget replacement for Firewall Dragon when it comes to the TCG (since it will likely be a while before we get the alt-art firewall, and it probably won't be as easy to obtain as in the OCG).

I was thinking the exact same thing (about it being a budget replacement).

Hopefully Firewall gets a Tin before long, the TCG will want to hype VRAINS once it comes out after all.
