What's that Ritual doing between two effect monsters? #confused

Is it part of a new archetype? But then why would there be a regular Effect monster between it and the Spell card?
Can't believe I'm relying on TCG to keep Rituals alive. Please, Ra, let Vrains not be the next Zexal era.

People wanted rituals and it seems like one of the tcg archetypes will use rituals. Yet I am less than happy about this set due to the rarity bumps, especially to the trickstars and stargrail. I am just going to quit playing this game irl and just play online.

81 is always a random card if I remember rightly. Depressed that it's likely not Executive Genghis...

81 is an effect monster of probable generic randomness. 82 is the Ritual. 83 is another Effect monster.

Possibly Shurit or Aleister like methinks given the lineup. Manju and Senju and the like can supplement the deck.

To elaborate on my earlier plea hoping VRains won't turn out like Zexal-

Of the first 8 main sets of the Zexal era, the total number of non-Xyz Extra Deck monsters consisted of a single fusion. Of the entire Zexal era main sets, only a single ritual monster was released, courtesy of the anime.

This reminds me. Who would like it if they printed a pack of some kind where they print all 175 of the really old Normal Monsters they never printed in the TCG?

I always end up playing a TCG Exclusive Deck, because the Decks from each set that I want to play are always expensive or hard to get. Starting from DUEA, I played Burning Abyss, then I played Pure Kaiju, then I played Subterror. I wonder which one I'm going to play this time?
The dankest duelist you'll ever meet.

I wonder why the sneak peek promo was originally hidden.

I would. I collect normal monsters, I currently have all but some of the hard to get TP2 ones. It would also allow other cards to be printed in the OTS packs.
