    (EXFO) Underclock Taker

One of Yusaku’s support Link Monsters from his Duel with Ghost Girl is being released in Extreme Force.

    EXFO-JP039 アンダークロックテイカー Underlock Taker
Link 2 DARK Cyberse Link Effect Monster
    ATK 1000
    Links: Left, Bottom
    Materials: 2 Effect Monsters
    (1) Once per turn, you can: Target 1 face-up monster you control that this card points to and 1 face-up opponent’s monster; that opponent’s monster loses ATK equal to the ATK of your monster this card points to until the end of this turn.

    Source: OCG Twitter

Not bad, not too good either.

    Ugh... Waste of card slots.
I'm using this forum to improve my english while also talking about a hobby of mine. Sorry for my grammatical mistakes.

A standard, debuffing Link stepping stone on your way to bigger Links and possible OTKs.

    Not more, nothing less.

Despite being a Link setup, I feel Riryoku is better than this. Same battle vulnerabilities with the two cards in the end.

    I see its use but I don't think I really care. : /

It's marginally useful. With all the buffing effects Cyberse is getting maybe it can help with OTKs?
Current decks: Salamangreats, Knightmare Cyberse, and Odd-Eyes Performapals
Originator of the Tulpa Summon, and the homebrewed cards you use with it.

    EXFO-JP039?

It looks like we are in for yet another main set that forgot any other Special Summon card colors exist other than Links.

Riryoku... That's not really a fair comparison, especially when this card is safely kept in he Extra Deck until you're ready, versus the Spell that you have to hope you draw when you're going to need it and that has no other utility beyond its one-and-done effect.

Unfortunately, that seems to be the modus operandi right now.

Forgot about the chances of drawing Riryoku, just don't wanna waste 2 monsters only to use its effect.

Again, to avoid myself any other unintentional ignorance on this one, I do know its meant to have its effect be used and then immediately used to Link climb. Plus, it doesn't say it has to be Link summoned so it's effect can be used later on multiple times.

Well if Trickstar Temptation is ever released then Underclock Taker can be useful in a Trickstar deck
