Tournament Pack 2018 Volume 1, out starting in January 2018, contains an erratum of Grandsoil the Elemental Lord, to make it “Name Based Once Per Turn”.

    18TP-JP101 Grandsoil the Elemental Lord
Level 8 EARTH Beast-Warrior Special Summon Effect Monster
    ATK 2800
    DEF 2200
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by having exactly 5 EARTH monsters in your Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. You can only use the (1)st effect of “Grandsoil the Elemental Lord” once per turn.
    (1) When this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 monster in either player’s Graveyard; Special Summon that target to your side of the field.
    (2) If this card leaves the field, skip the Battle Phase of your next turn.

    Peeved about Ancient Fairy Dragon.
Limits all make sense. Firewall to one - wow.

Yeah, called that on Firewall. Too fucking generic, too easy to go infinite with it with stuff like Grandsoil.
This is indeed a pretty easy to understand list.

I understand the loop for Firewall requires two of them? I haven't played even in locals for months so I've never seen it happen. In that case, letting you use one is fair.
Current decks: Salamangreats, Knightmare Cyberse, and Odd-Eyes Performapals
Originator of the Tulpa Summon, and the homebrewed cards you use with it.

Ancient Fairy Dragon's loss is sad, but not too surprising if you know all the first turn loops it contributes to. Destrudo made it even better at that.

Firewall Dragon's limit is suprising on the outset, being a protagonist's ace, but since he only uses 1 and since 1 prevents most of the looping, it's a pretty safe move in hindsight.

crossing my fingers hoping fire firewall to be limited in the tcg. Fairy dragon is unexpected, but destrudo plays needed to be stopped. I personally feel that semi-limiting grinder is not enough to stop how much you can abuse it. It needed to be put at one or banned out right.

OCG might have rationalized that with Firewall Dragon being reduced to 1, Grinder Golem, which is getting reprinted in the Powercode Link, is safe enough at 2.

The loss of Ancient Fairy Dragon is indeed unfortunate.

And who would have thought this on the outset of its release?

V Jump. A fair bit of stuff.

How do you think said exams went, if I may ask?
