Wow. as a cyberse player, I'm actually impressed. Their support in the last couple of main sets have been pretty weak recently. But these actually have quite a few cards to help their engine. I already sang my praises of Iblee, and Degrenade buster is basically an automatic 3-of that might make me reconsider trying for their banish synergy more. Streamer is pretty good, and I want to fiddle around with Prompt Horn and Protron. I also want to test Backup Operator to see if maybe I can use it to help maintain a resource engine; I've been having trouble with keeping my hand up while making plays.
Limit Code could also be used as a quick and durty way to link climb, and cybersal cyclone is unnecessary. Trisbaena is good but I don't see the point of Space Insulator.

Overall, I think I might take my cyberse deck out for real when we get this set here (and powercode link, which might take a while).
Current decks: Salamangreats, Knightmare Cyberse, and Odd-Eyes Performapals
Originator of the Tulpa Summon, and the homebrewed cards you use with it.

Limit Code is good in any Cyberse deck. Streamer is like a shittier version of Solar Batteryman. Prompt Horn could be powerful in a Normal Cyberse deck, but that can brick pretty hard... Degrenade Buster is a decent mini-boss that can be used for a material in a pinch. They're really keeping Cyberse pretty weak for the moment, though.

That Trickstar Link monster is absolute garbage with a needlessly complicated effect that feels like it was made by spinning a wheel with random keywords on it. You could probably make a pretty funny Random Link Monster Generator at this point. The quick-play spell is decent given Trickstar's aggressive nature, plus it combos quite nicely with Carobein, Lilybell and Lycoris. I'd run one of it.

Altergeist Pixiel is trash, but Emulelf is nice protection and an easy way to get a monster out early, one of Altergeist's big problems... except that Multifaker does an even better job of it, being probably the key card in the whole deck thanks to its extremely easy to use and super powerful effects. It's the Icebell of the deck.

Most of the joke cards are just that, but I could see Sponsored Reborn being used eventually. Also Sekitoba can be good for any Rank 5 decks still out there.

IMO Altergeist Pixiel should have left a token if you successfully added a card with its effect.

Maybe Yashiki Warashi will have a shorter English name than the others. It's less "punny" than the others it seems.

IMO, this is one of the best boosters in a while. Almost every card has uses in almost every deck:

Troymare links are generic (except for mermaid) and pack pretty good damn effect (goblin is OP in the right decks), also Iblee is generic too for link spaming.

Yashiki warashi is the new handtrap and obviously is broken against some decks.

Watchcat can be see as a silly card but its a free special monster for anything, and maybe its second effect may have some use in some deck

Designator from the grave is THE card of this set, holly shit, banish a monster from your opp gy, negates monsters with the same name, can stop handtraps in turn 1... holly molly, this card is a must 3 in almost every deck to avoid get eaten by handtraps.

Light of sekka is the perfect card for full monsters or decks that doesn't use spell/traps at all. It would be nice to see more support for full monsters like this tho.

Mamemaki is OP in decks like darkworld, BA, shadoll... You have a lv4? OK, i target it with mamemaki, something? no? Then i discard 2 snow, 1 grapha and 1 broww, draw 4 cards, return the monster to the hand, and now i search 2, destroy a card in your field and draw an extra card. My god...

Susha sosei is Pretty good too, but i have a lot of questions about it. Could you target monsters that cannot be special summon? What happens if one of the targets leaves the graveyard? ...

I dont remember the last time that we had a booster like this...

I get where you're coming from, but the problem is that it's only great if you draw it early on and have a full hand of cards. What happens if you draw this with only 2 other cards in your hand against a deck with only LV3+ monsters? It's a super fun and cool combo, but I fear you're more likely to brick with it later on than be able to use it properly. Like, you could have it in your starting hand, but instead of a bunch of other monsters to discard, you might have a bunch of S/T that you would want to play and thus have to decide between using it sub-optimally or potentially not at all.

I do love its design from a cultural standpoint, since it incorporates both the notion of "demons out/blessing in" via discarding and drawing anew and the idea of eating one's age in beans via discarding equal to the level of the monster. And of course the great card art of the demons and all the various bean-based monsters.

The point of Space Insulator is to be a Cyberse Link that Summons itself back to a comfy Zone when you Link Summon, and to be Link-climb material prior (but not after; it's only meant to be a Monster then). It works best in Cyberse Decks focusing on the Code Talker suite, as it goes nicely with Decode, Encode, and especially Power Code.

In a suprising turn of events, not only did this Set take longer to leak than others (nowadays, most crack packs earlier that Thursday), but there was some 31 unknown cards. It's been forever since there were that large a number of missing cards before release.

I pretty much love some of everything, from the World Legacy cards which are both cool and continue their story in a surprisingly straightforward and comprehensible (with a couple hiccups here and there) but still vivid and emotional way, to the new Cyberse and Altergiest, which goes a good ways with supplementing their respective Decks (I love how Normal Cyberse has become its own, more consolidated version of the Deck, and Altergeist really needed those Monsters they received and appreciate the protective Trap Monster, too), to the miscellaneous support which are all colorful and flavorful (that poor lil' lamb ). They even gave us Darklord support! And one that recovers LPs which they sorely needed, to boot!

So yes, it was a great haul. I kinda wish we coulda gotten more Gouki related cards, but they focused on Trickstars this Set to conicide with her big Duel in Anime that led up to the Set's release, and they got a good haul (I actually like Delfiendium). Hopefully, Goukis will get this same love in Cybernetic Horizon. And the World Legacy support really drew me in, especially Auram inheriting Mekk-Knight Blue Sky's powers and become Mekk-Knight Avram! He's fufilling his desire to be like the World Hero he idolized growing up, though that fulfillment comes with a cost it seems. (Hope Ib gets a more positive turn and happy ending later. )

Not much but Prompt Horn + One Time Passcode seems like a decent combination.

Also Balancer Lord. Heck, even just Backup Secretary is enough to get you a link 4 if you're willing to run 3 Protron.
