    DEF 2600
    Materials: 1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
If you Synchro Summon this card, all the material must be the same Attribute.
    (1) Once per turn, if this card was Synchro Summoned and you have 4 or more Tuners with different names in your GY: You can pay half your LP; destroy all other cards on the field, also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except Dragon monsters.
    (2) Once per turn, during your End Phase: Banish the top 4 cards of your Deck.

VP18-JP003 Gekimetsuryuu Dark Armed (Dark Armed, the Annihilator Dragon)

    Monster Effects:
    Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set.
Must be Special Summoned (from your hand or your face-up Extra Deck) by banishing 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK monster from your GY.
You can only Special Summon “Chaos Emperor, the Armageddon Dragon(s)” once per turn this way.
    (1) Once per turn: You can pay half your LP; send as many cards as possible from your field to the GY, except cards in the Extra Monster Zones, and if you do, send to the GY cards from your opponent’s field, up to the number of cards in the GYs that this effect sent there from your field, then inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of cards this effect sent to their GY x 300.

They are nothing to be hyped about.

    I like them.

I wish Trishula was usable with Shiranui.

Trishula could have been good in Shiranui, Twilightsworn, Dino/Lightsworn and Metaphys. Shame it needs dragons to activate its effect. As of now, I really can't think of a deck that can use it. It also is much less powerful that the original counterpart...
The others are okayish. Darkness can be used in link-centric decks, even if it's summoning restriction for the rest of the heavily weakens it.
Judgement can surprisingly work with its deck, which is by itself the reason why I consider it the best of the bunch.
Dark Armed is... Ok, I think? Not sure why it banishes from the GY, but aside from that, is good. Happy it isn't heavily restricted like the others, since its effect is arguably the weakest of them all. Could have been better if it didn't target, though.
I'm using this forum to improve my english while also talking about a hobby of mine. Sorry for my grammatical mistakes.

    Little combo with Trish:

    > Send 3 dragons including Eclipse Wyvern with Ravine + Shrine
    > Wyvern put Darkness Metal (the OG one) in the Banish Zone
    > Banish Wyvern and 2 random Dragons to summon Fusion Trish
    > Wyvern add REDMD to your hand
    > Profit

On another note: those cards would be borderline broken during Dragon Rulers format.

Judgment Dragon finally gets the OTP clause it needed. Why the original hasn't had that effect errata'd onto it already I'll never understand.

As for the dragons as a whole, they're massively nerfed versions of the originals, but the originals were so good that it's understandable. I like them.

Their OG versions are really strong, making a "evolution" of them while making it balanced at the same time is a really hard task.

After all of the Ice Barrier lore and the fact that the extra deck monsters of the archetype are Synchros, Seeing Trish as a Fusion monster feels a little bit... weird to me. lol.
The effect is also too restricted to Dragon monsters.
And these versions of them are more balanced it seems.

Shit's fucked, yo. A classic example of Konami trying to make cards that can be splashed in any deck yet only fully effective in certain decks just ending up making them useless garbage. A couple of these are situational at best, none of them are just the fun, new generic high-end toolbox monsters or archtype support people wanted. Try to please everyone, end up pleasing no one, LMAO.
