Interesting that the monsters don't do anything on the field. Now, what to pair them up with to make the most out of their discard gimmick.

I would say dark worlds, except you wouldn't be using them to their full potential. Fabled?
Current decks: Salamangreats, Knightmare Cyberse, and Odd-Eyes Performapals
Originator of the Tulpa Summon, and the homebrewed cards you use with it.

No, those are full-fledged mythical creatures. Only the Mapinguari qualifies among the above, if you ignore folklorical interpretations. Cryptids are non-magical unidentified animals. Stuff more on the level of the Chupa-cu or the ET de Varginha.
IRL Decks: Pure Artifact, Lyrilusc (work in progress) and futurely Time Thief
Online: Trap Monster, Trickstar, Eyes Restrict
Pre-Link Format: DDD, Heraldic Beast, Chronomaly

No change. All of the Danger! cards state the discarded card is chosen at random, so knowing what your opponent has in their Hand is meaningless.

I was under the impression the ruling was that because all the cards in the hand are already shown, you cannot reveal cards in the hand.
Core Compression: If your hand is being revealed by the effect of “Respect Play” or “Ceremonial Bell” you cannot activate this card.

That is correct. Ceremonial Bell would stop the Danger! Deck cold, until its taken out.
