    [SOFU] Orphegel Orchestrion

    SOFU-JP045 オルフェゴール・オーケストリオン Orphegor Orchestrion
Link 4 DARK Machine Link Effect Monster
    ATK 3000
Links: Top, Top Right, Bottom Left, Bottom
Materials: 2+ Effect Monsters including an ďOrphegorĒ monster
You can only use the (2) effect of this cardís name once per turn.
    (1) While this card is linked, it cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects.
    (2) You can target 3 of your banished Machine monsters; Return them to the Deck, also, if your opponent controls any face-up monsters that are linked, the ATK and DEF of those monsters becomes 0 and their effects are negated.

Note: The conjunction for the 2nd effect is unknown, donít overspeculate.

Note: The themeís naming basis is unknown at the moment, donít overspeculate until we have a better guess.

Despite the second note, I already got the archetype name figured out and adjusted the thread's name accordingly since I won't be able to change the thread's name later after the Org changes the card's name.

    Orphegel is "Orpheus" + "Orgel".
Orgel is the Dutch/German/Japanese for music boxes. Orpheus is a harpist from Greek mythology known for trying to revive his wife. He went to the Underwold and impressed Hades so much with his musical skills that Hades let him bring his wife back to life, warning him to "don't look back on his back to the living world". Orpheus looked and his wife stayed dead. He also participated on the Argonauts' adventure and won a song-off against the sirens. The Lyra constelation is based on him.
Anyways, both parts of the name are deeply related to music.

As the page url already states, orchestrions are automated machines that orchestra-like music. They usually work with pinned cilinders and/or punched cards.
IRL Decks: Pure Artifact, Lyrilusc (work in progress) and futurely Tindangle
Online: Trap Monster, Trickstar, Eyes Restrict
Pre-Link Format: DDD, Heraldic Beast, Chronomaly

Thanks for the compelling research, I'm even more fascinated about this archetype.

Based upon the monster's link markers and first effect, we can believe this archetype primary interaction will be co-linking/linking monsters to establish a field/orchestra.

Based on past trends, they'll reveal the remaining cards overnight tonight.

Apparently the Knightmares have musical notes in their artwork that could correspond to these cards; Mermaid corresponds to this one if that's the case.
