[V Jump] The Prankids Series from Hidden Summoners (with Prankids Rocket)

Everyone’s Planck-sized Pranksters are hitting the big screen of card games!

    DBHS-JP014 Prankids Pulse
Level 1 WIND Thunder Effect Monster
    ATK 0
    DEF 2000
You can only use the effect of this card’s name once per turn.
    (1) If this card is sent to the GY as Fusion or Link Material for a “Prankids” monster: You can send 1 “Prankids” card from your Deck to the GY, except “Prankids Pulse”, then you can Special Summon 1 “Prankids” monster from your hand or Deck in Defense Position, except “Prankids Pulse”.

    DBHS-JP015 Prankids Lamp/Ramp
Level 3 FIRE Pyro Effect Monster
    ATK 1500
    DEF 500
You can only use the effect of this card’s name once per turn:
    (1) If this card is sent to the GY as Fusion or Link Material for a “Prankids” monster: You can inflict 500 damage to your opponent, then Special Summon 1 “Prankids” monster from your hand or Deck in Defense Position, except “Prankids Lamp”.

    DBHS-JP016 Prankids Drop
Level 2 WATER Aqua Effect Monster
    ATK 1000
    DEF 1000
You can only use the effect of this card’s name once per tur.
    (1) If this card is sent to the GY as Fusion or Link Material for a “Prankids” monster: You can gain 1000 LP, then Special Summon 1 “Prankids” monster from your hand or Deck in Defense Position, except “Prankids Drop”.

    DBHS-JP019 Prankids House Battle Butler
Level 10 WIND Thunder Fusion Effect Monster
    ATK 3000
    DEF 3000
Materials: “Prankids Lamp” + “Prankids Drop” + “Prankids Pulse”
This card cannot be Special Summoned, except by a Fusion Summon. You can only use the second effect of this card’s name once per turn.
    (1) (Quick Effect): You can Tribute this card; destroy all monsters your opponent controls.
    (2) If this card is sent to the GY by your opponent: You can target 1 monster in your GY, except a Fusion Monster; Special Summon that monster.

    DBHS-JP022 Prankids Roargon
Link 4 WATER Aqua Link Effect Monster
    ATK 3000
    Links: Top, Left, Right, Bottom
Materials: 2 or more “Prankids” monsters
This card cannot be Special Summoned, except by a Link Summon. You can only use the second effect of this card’s name once per turn.
    (1) (Quick Effect): You can Tribute this card; destroy all Spell/Trap Cards your opponent controls.
    (2) If this card is sent to the GY by your opponent: You can target 1 card in your GY, except a Link Monster; add that card to your hand.

DBHS-JP025 Prankids no Daibousou (Prankids on the Loose)
    Quick-Play Spell Card
    (1) During either player’s Main Phase: Fusion Summon 1 “Prankids” Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or field as Fusion Material, but for the rest of this turn you cannot Normal or Special Summon monsters, except “Prankids” monsters.

Note: This card’s name is more literally “Big Rampage of the Prankids”, but that’s a little bit too literal. I wouldn’t be shocked by “Those Whacky Prankids!” tho’.

    Note, from Dec as before:

“The theme name here is Purankizzu, which is likely either Prankids or Planckids (get it they’re small)”.

Specifically the theme is named after kids pulling pranks, but they’re also related to Max Planck’s research into wavelengths, referring to “Pulse”, “Drop” and “Ramp” waves, and thus are likely named after Planck length waves.

    ----------------------------

OCG Twitter gets in on the fun, immediately showing off one of the lower-level Prankids fusions.

    DBHS-JP017 Prankids Rocket
    FIRE Pyro/Fusion/Effect
    LV5 2000/0
    2 “Prankids” monsters
You can only use this card name’s (1) and (2) effects once per turn each.
(1): If this card is Fusion Summoned: You can activate this effect; for the rest of this turn, have this card lose 1000 ATK, and if you do, it can also attack directly this turn.
(2): You can Tribute this card, then target 2 non-Fusion “Prankids” monsters with different names in your GY; Special Summon them, also they cannot attack this turn.

These Extra Deck cards remind me a lot of Ojama Delta Hurricane. You assemble a lot of comic relief cards and get a powerful quick-play Raigeki/Feather Duster effect that you could have also gotten from much easier and more effective methods. Overall, the archetype fits its name because it honestly feels like Konami is pranking us.
IRL Decks: Pure Artifact, Lyrilusc (work in progress) and futurely Time Thief
Online: Trap Monster, Trickstar, Eyes Restrict
Pre-Link Format: DDD, Heraldic Beast, Chronomaly

The kids art make me think of Disney's Inside Out.

Yeah, rocket kinda solve the problem with the big monsters of the deck.
I mean, you can use the fusion spell, then active the kids in grave, summon two kids, then tribute the rocket summon two more kids and profit.
By the way, noodles are pretty tasty and not that expensive.
    Kill me please.

Noteably, a lot of their cards were deliberately left unrevealed, so as to have something into the Deck showcase starting on 24th (or 25th, one). They seem to be missing a 3rd Fusion, 2 more Links, 2 more Spells, and a Trap. It makes me wonder what they do. These seem really nice, despite their lower numbers of Main Deck cards, I look forward to what they'll theoretically get in cross-promotion support.

I like that Link/Fusion hybrid that the Prankids bring. Supporting both summoning methods to be versatile. I hope the anime goes in this direction with non-main characters
