    Stand In
    Spell Quick-Play
You can only activate 1 card with this cardís name per turn.
    (1) Tribute 1 monster, then target 1 monster in your opponentís GY with the same original Type and Attribute as that monsterís; Special Summon it to your field.

That Equip is cool and that Field Spell is murder in the right circumstances and a headache any other time.

Apparently, the Equip references a real life sword technique of the same name.

Yes, Mortschlag is the (amusingly stupid) sword technique of grabbing the sword by the blade and hitting the opponent with the hilt. Exactly like in the card's picture. Why would you do that, I have no idea, but it is a thing that can be done.
IRL Decks: Pure Artifact, Lyrilusc (work in progress) and futurely Time Thief
Online: Trap Monster, Trickstar, Eyes Restrict
Pre-Link Format: DDD, Heraldic Beast, Chronomaly

If things get that bad, you do what you gotta do. Also, something about swords' center of gravity making their hilts good blunting weapons in a pinch.
