Randomly choosing cards from your opponent's deck, huh? So its come to this.
For some reason I now want to see this effect as a counter trap activated when your opponent would add a card from their deck to their hand.
No longer a mystery.
Card of Spirit
Normal Spell
(1) Each player chooses 1 card from their Deck, then each player chooses 4 random cards from their opponent’s Deck, and if they do, each player shuffles the 5 cards chosen from their Deck, randomly picks 1 to reveal and add to their hand, and shuffles into their Deck the rest of the cards chosen from their Deck. You can only activate 1 “Card of Spirit” per turn.

Wait, so my opponent's cards go to my deck at the end of this? Did I read this right?
IRL Decks: Pure Artifact, Lyrilusc (work in progress) and futurely Time Thief
Online: Trap Monster, Trickstar, Eyes Restrict
Pre-Link Format: DDD, Heraldic Beast, Chronomaly
Current decks: Salamangreats, Knightmare Cyberse, and Odd-Eyes Performapals
Originator of the Tulpa Summon, and the homebrewed cards you use with it.
You pick one, opponent picks 4, shuffle to select one randomly and add that card to your hand, then shuffle the rest back to the deck.
Where would this be useful?

It's an anime-manga card.
Kaiba telling Yugi: "Pull out Slifer / DM and I'll bring my Obelisk / Blue-Eyes."
Kinda sucks that your opponent could pick another Card of Spirit for you.
