    [DBIC] Witchcraft Revealed

The true depths of the Witchcraft strategy is revealed!

    DBIC-JP015 Witchcraft Pittore
Level 3 WATER Spellcaster Effect Monster
    ATK 1000
    DEF 1500
You can only use each effect of this card’s name once per turn.
    (1) During either Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can Tribute this card, then discard 1 Spell Card from your hand; Special Summon 1 “Witchcraft” monster from your Deck, except “Witchcraft Pitture”.
    (2) You can banish this card from your GY; draw 1 card, then send 1 “Witchcraft” card from your hand to the GY, or, if you do not have any in your hand, banish your entire hand.

Note: This card’s name seems to be Italian, or at least based on, the Italian word for Painter.

    DBIC-JP017 Witchcraft Edel
Level 5 LIGHT Spellcaster Effect Monster
    ATK 2000
    DEF 2300
You can only use each effect of this card’s name once per turn.
    (1) (Quick Effect): You can discard 1 Spell Card; Special Summon 1 “Witchcraft” monster from your hand, except “Witchcraft Edel”.
    (2) You can Tribute this card, then target 1 Spellcaster monster in your GY, except “Witchcraft Edel”; Special Summon that monster.

Note: This card’s name seems to be German for “High Class”/”High Grade”/”Noble”

    DBIC-JP018 Witchcraft Heine/Haine
Level 7 DARK Spellcaster Effect Monster
    ATK 2400
    DEF 1000
You can only use the 2nd effect of this card’s name once per turn.
    (1) Other Spellcaster monsters you control cannot be targeted by your opponent’s effects.
    (2) (Quick Effect): You can discard 1 Spell from your hand, then target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; destroy that card.

Note: This card’s name seems to be German for “Home”.
Note 2: “Haine” seems to be Romanian for “clothing”, which is probably closer to her tailor look.

    DBIC-JP020 Witchcraft Creation
    Normal Spell Card
You can only use one effect of this card’s name per turn, and only once that turn.
    (1) Add 1 “Witchcraft” monster from your Deck to your hand.
    (2) During your End Phase, if you control a “Witchcraft” monster while this card in the GY: You can add this card to your hand.

    DBIC-JP021 Witchcraft Sabotage
    Normal Spell Card
You can only use one effect of this card’s name per turn, and only once that turn.
    (1) Target 1 “Witchcraft” monster in your GY; Special Summon that monster.
    (2) During your End Phase, if you control a “Witchcraft” monster while this card in the GY: You can add this card to your hand.

    DBIC-JP022 Witchcraft Collaboration
    Normal Spell Card
You can only use one effect of this card’s name per turn, and only once that turn.
    (1) Target 1 “Witchcraft” monster you control; during this turn, that monster can attack twice during each Battle Phase, also if that monster attacks, your opponent cannot activate Spells or Traps until the end of the Damage Step.
    (2) During your End Phase, if you control a “Witchcraft” monster while this card in the GY: You can add this card to your hand.

    DBIC-JP023 Witchcraft Draping
    Quick-Play Spell Card
You can only use one effect of this card’s name per turn, and only once that turn.
    (1) Target Spell/Traps your opponent controls, up to the number of “Witchcraft” monsters you control; return those card(s) to the hand.
    (2) During your End Phase, if you control a “Witchcraft” monster while this card in the GY: You can add this card to your hand.

    DBIC-JP024 Witchcraft Bystreet
    Continuous Spell Card
You can use the 2nd or 3rd effect of this card’s name once per turn, and only one of them that turn.
    (1) Each turn, the first time each of your “Witchcraft” monsters would be destroyed by battle or effects, they are not destroyed.
    (2) If you would discard from the hand to activate the effect of a “Witchcraft” monster you control, you can send this card to the GY instead.
    (3) During your End Phase, if you control a “Witchcraft” monster while this card in the GY: You can place this card in your Spell & Trap Zone face-up.

    DBIC-JP024 Witchcraft Scroll
    Continuous Spell Card
You can use the 2nd or 3rd effect of this card’s name once per turn, and only one of them that turn.
    (1) Once per turn, when a Spellcaster monster you control destroys a monster by battle: You can draw 1 card.
    (2) If you would discard from the hand to activate the effect of a “Witchcraft” monster, you can send this card to the GY instead.
    (3) During your End Phase, if you control a “Witchcraft” monster while this card in the GY: You can place this card in your Spell & Trap Zone face-up.

    DBIC-JP026 Witchcraft Masterpiece
    Normal Trap Card
You can only use each effect of this card’s name once per turn.
    (1) If you control a “Witchcraft” monster: Target 1 Spell in either GY; add 1 card with the same name as that card from your Deck to your hand.
    (2) You can banish this card and any number of Spells from your GY; Special Summon from your Deck 1 “Witchcraft” monster with a Level equal to the number of Spells banished. This effect cannot be activated during the turn this card is sent to the GY.

I'm not seeing the banish recovery in-theme effects...
Interesting. 6 monsters, 5 Attributes. 2 LIGHT, no WIND.

    Pittore is a Painter
    Edel is a Lapidary
    Heine is a Draper

This is kind of like the craft skill counterpart to U.A.

I noticed there was no woodcrafting witch in this set...

Ohhh... witchCRAFT. I did not get it before (in part because I skipped past the name explainations).
Current decks: Salamangreats, Knightmare Cyberse, and Odd-Eyes Performapals
Originator of the Tulpa Summon, and the homebrewed cards you use with it.

Is that a Spell Counter in Witchcraft Scroll?

EDIT: Same artist as with Madolche, Aromages and Weather Painters?

EDIT2: Atelier deck? You know, those RPGs with alchemy.

Good point. Also, missing levels 1 and 6.

The Spells suit has 3 Normal, 1 Quick-play, 2 Continuous, but no Equip, no Field and no Ritual.
    Spoiler Alert!
    Bystreet, Y U NO Field?

A "Witchcraft" Ritual Spell would make a ton of sense thanks to their GY self-recovery effects, and because you can always use it as a discard when you don't need to Ritual Summon. It just fits in the theme! Even lore-wise, I might say.

So, here is hoping for a level 6 WIND Ritual monster in the future!

Maybe something that can recover those banished Witchcraft cards.

Also, maybe a Level 1 DARK Witchcraft Master and along with that Level 6 WIND Witchcraft monster.
