This card cannot be Normal Summoned/Set, and can only be Special Summoned by a card effect. You can only use the 1st and 2nd effect of this card’s name once per turn.
(1) You can target 3 of your banished Fiend monsters; Special Summon this card from the hand, then shuffle those targets into the Deck.
(2) If this monster you control is destroyed by your opponent and sent to the GY, during the End Phase of that turn: Special Summon this card from the GY, then you can destroy cards your opponent controls up to the number of Spell/Traps you control with different names.

(1) At the start of the Damage Step, if your opponent’s monster is attacking: You can send this card you control or in your hand to the GY, then target 1 Level 8 Fiend monster in your GY; Special Summon that monster, but its effects are negated, and the attacking monster attacks it instead, and you proceed to damage calculation.
(2) If a Level 8 Fiend monster is sent to your GY while this card is in the GY: You can add this card to your hand.

You can only use the 1st and 2nd effects of this card’s name once per turn
(1) When your opponent activates a card or effect: You can send this card you control or in your hand to the GY, then target 1 Level 8 Fiend monster in your GY; Special Summon that monster, but its effects are negated.
(2) If a Level 8 Fiend monster is sent to your GY while this card is in the GY: You can add this card to your hand.

Normal Spell Card
You can only use the 1st and 2nd effects of this card’s name once per turn.
(1) Discard 1 card; add 1 “Destiny Board” or Level 8 Fiend monster from your Deck or GY to the hand
(2) You can banish this card from the GY, except the turn this card was sent to the GY; place any number of “Spirit Message” cards or “Destiny Board” in your hand or GY, each with different names, on the bottom of your Deck in any order. Then, draw cards equal to the number placed.



DP22-JP005 Shi no Senkoku (Death Sentence)
Continuous Trap Card
You can only use one effect of this card’s name once per turn.
(1) You can target Fiend monsters among your banished monsters or in your GY up to the number of “Spirit Message” cards or “Destiny Board” you control; add them to your hand.
(2) You can send this card from the Spell & Trap Zone to the GY; place 1 “Spirit Message” card from your hand, Deck or GY into your Spell & Trap Zone, and treat it as being placed there by the effect of “Destiny Board”.

Fun Fact: Both of the new non-Level 8 monsters are amalgamations of Dark Spirit of the Silent with 2 other cards Yami Bakura has used. Denial is made with Gross Ghost of Fled Dreams and Headless Knight. Malice is made with The Portrait's Secret and Earthbound Spirit.

That all said, it's nice to see Bakura finally get support for his most iconic strategy. It won't make Destiny Board that much better imo but it's still quite nice.

I am deeply disappointed the new Necrofear doesn't activate Dark Sanctuary from the deck/hand when it hits the GY. How'd they manage to screw that up? 5 cards and none of them search Dark Sanctuary- not even the retrain of the one that did so in the anime.

And of course it's Fiend support instead of Fiend/Zombie support.

TCG should keep the artwork for Death Sentence but simply name it "Good Bye".

Dark Sanctuary activated when Dark Necrofear was sent to the grave. Who cares if those cards exist. Necroworld Banshee just came out and does exactly what the new Necrofear should have done: activate a field spell from the grave. The precedent already exists and is fresh and recent. There's no excuse.
